I need to drive to West Palm Beach Saturday and wonder which route is best regarding making time and road conditions. I know most of this state is under some type of road construction.
Opinions welcomed, I'm not familiar with this area.

1.) Gandy to Hwy 60

2.) Skyway South to Hwy 70

70 TO 710 IN OKEECHOBEE STRAIGHT TO W.P.B.  IS THE WAY I GO TO THE  VA IN W.P.B.

Thanks for reply's...
Jerry, Portillo's is classic, nostalgic Chicago and a cool place to visit. Although there is better Italian beef and giardiniera right here in Largo. Little old couple been in business 40 years. Make everything themselves and bake their own bread fresh daily. I work with two Chicagoan's who turned me on to it.

Just looked at the map and those there are some straight roads, I think you can count the turns in one hand.

Stay awake Doug  :)

Done did it Jerry, good food recommendation. Glad I did it while I'm still young, traffic and driver skills are lacking, worse than Pinellas County...Holy Guacamole they have some bad drivers out there.

WPB has a ton of folks from the upper East Coast.....that should tell you something about how they drive.

I took 60 and if you can get to it I would say 70 to 710 also. I take 710 all the time and its an open road really nice to ride on.

You guys just dont know what traffic is living out in the sticks thats all thats wrong with WPB.
