Cobra Rechroming -Not any more!

I read Oss' response about Cobra doing some gratis chroming of their parts. I did send an email asking for a price to rechrome a set of floorboards that I have. Here is their response... Sounds like things have changed.....

Cobra does not do any rechroming of parts. You can take them to any platter where you live and they will rechrome the boards for you. a, good source is to go to an auto body shop, they rechrome bumpers. Thanks for asking Cobra, ride safe.

maybe,  good floorboards, but the chroming is peeling off after several years.  Luckily is drivers boards since they do not show up much since are not able to flip up only seeing the edging is all.
