Well to start with, we had a great time ! It was great riding in a new part of the country and meeting new people. Thanks to you all that showed up to ride with us. And especially to Oss for setting up the ride.  cooldude Unfortunately my video work is not of the Nogrey caliber, so I dont have any to share. Luckily Brenda took a few pics.
Our adventure started a little rough, but it worked out thanks to the guys being patient with a dumbass getting turned around a few times. Our rental guy was late to work and I didn`t comprehend Gman`s advice for crossing the Whitestone bridge. He had told me stay left. I didn`t realize that meant stay left until 16" before the merge and then muscle your way in.  2funny So we hung out in the lane for the bridge like tourists for 45 minutes. Anyway, I texted Oss that we would catch up to the group. After some bumbling on my part and following some random dudes on Goldwings we got together. Smiley

I think these were Day 2

Our first covered bridge. As you can tell from our beautiful attire it was a little wet. Everybody was a good sport for taking us there. Bob and Dan didn`t even have Raingear on.

Oss was daring them to hit him.  2funny

The next 3 days we were tourists.

I was starting to feel like a local Smiley

Brenda having the "Big Salad" at the diner. Smiley

This was my reaction to hearing what i had done in the back of Bonnies SUV.  Shocked

And last but not least. My proud as a peacock FIL stylin` the garb we got him in Times Square.

We had a GREAT time. If any of you are considering making Oss`s ride next year, I highly recommend it !  cooldude

For those who were not there it wasnt an SUV

Meathead and Brenda were in the section in back of the last row of seats of Bonnie's 2005 Grand Caravan  They were the first people to ride back there and probably will be the last.    angel angel

Brenda looked ok when she got out, Meathead its difficult to say

Good reporting on an interesting adventure! I've enjoyed following your 'time in the east' posts... a bit envious, of course, but happy for all y'all nonetheless... I was sorry I had to miss that ride... even more sorry now!
