Following is the current status of the race per fivethirtyeight.com, the widely acknowledged historically most reliable poll of polls which has been dead-on accurate over the past five presidential election cycles:
Current chances of winning: Clinton - 82% Trump - 18%
Nate Silver Comments:
Pretty much everyone has an incentive to push the narrative that the presidential race is tightening. The television networks would like for you to keep tuning in to their horse-race coverage. Hillary Clinton’s campaign would like for you to turn out to vote, instead of getting complacent. Donald Trump’s campaign would like you to know that its candidate still has a chance.
But what do the polls say? The race probably is tightening — but perhaps not as much as the hype on the cable networks would imply. In our polls-only forecast, Trump has narrowed Clinton’s lead in the popular vote to roughly 6 percentage points from 7 points a week ago, and his chances of winning have ticked up to 17 percent from 13 percent. In our polls-plus forecast, Trump’s chances are up to 19 percent from 16 percent. Because of the high level of uncertainty in the race, we can’t say the door is closed on a narrow Trump victory. And we’re certainly a week or two removed from the period when every poll brought good news for Clinton: Plenty of polls now show negative trend lines for her (in addition to others that show a positive trend). But the race hasn’t fundamentally changed all that much, and Clinton remains in a strong position.
The data, however, offers a lot of opportunities for cherry-picking, both because there are a lot of polls and because they don’t agree all that much with one another. That’s especially true of national polls.1 Recent national surveys show everything from a 14-percentage-point Clinton lead to a 1-point lead for Trump. On average, that works out to a Clinton lead of 5 to 6 points — but there’s a lot of variation.
How unusual is it for polls to show this wide a range of outcomes? In the table below, I’ve compiled a summary of national polls conducted during the final week of the campaign in elections since 1976. (I used just one poll per polling firm — the last one each released before the election.) For 2016, I’m showing the numbers for national polls since last week’s presidential debate. Note that this is not an apples-to-apples comparison: There’s a good chance the polling range will narrow over the final week of the campaign because of herding (pollsters sometimes get scared to publish results that seem like outliers as the campaign draws to a close). But it makes for some interesting data:
Chance of winning:
Popular Votes:
Hillary Clinton 82.1% Donald Trump 17.9%
Electoral votes:
Hillary Clinton 328.3 Donald Trump 208.5 Evan McMullin 1.2

Really never understood why folks would vote early or why the candidates would encourage such activities unless the voter just couldn't make it election day to cast a vote. Seems to me that there's way too much information that might come out that might change my mind on who to support.
I now understand why Hillary wants as many folks to vote early as possible. The more we learn, the less likely undecided folks are to support her. Those already committed won't change their minds even if she's charged with treason. Damn that's some strong kool aid.

Guys, I just got this in my email. I don't know if it's hype or good advice, but if I see that this is my machine, I will request a paper ballot.
WATCH FOR VOTING MACHINES!!!
The Soros machines are labeled "Smartmatic". He provides voting machines for 16 states. Its FL, AZ, and most of the battleground states. They will say Smartmatic on the label. If you see that label then Ask for a paper ballot. It's his british company that makes voting machines and contracted here with certain states. Of course democrats are denying it.
Also, some states have a separate section for President. If you vote straight ticket you will not be voting for president. It will be left blank. You have to go to the presidential section separately for that vote.
Demand a Paper Ballot!!
Voters don’t typically think much about the voting machines they’re using, but this election season, what kind of voting machine used might end up being critical in how the election turns out. That’s because Smartmatic, a U.K.-based technology company that provides voting machines to countries around the world, has deep connections to leftist billionaire George Soros. Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, the chairman of Smartmatic, is on the board of Soros’ Open Society Foundations. He was the former vice chairman of Soros’ Investment Funds and the deputy secretary general of the United Nations when he worked as Kofi Annan’s chief of staff.
When voting, look for the Smartmatic logo on the machines in your precinct. If you encounter one of these machines, ask for a paper ballot.

I'd say this could be placed firmly in the hype category.... "As is typical of such claims, this one is based on nothing more than the most tenuous of connections — namely that among the number of non-profit boards on which Smartmatic Chairman Lord Mark Malloch-Brown sits is the Global Board of the Open Society Foundation, an international grantmaking network founded by George Soros. That fact that one of the many people on one of the many boards of one of the many organizations with which George Soros (a large Clinton donor) is involved also happens to chair an electronic voting company is taken as proof enough by conspirators that George Soros has the means, motive, and intent to commit a massive act of voting fraud. And, despite being the multinational billionaire business magnate that he is, Soros utterly lacks the common sense not to rig an election through a confederate so obviously connected to him." http://www.snopes.com/george-soros-controls-smartmatic-voting-machines-in-16-states/For those that get heartburn from Snopes.... http://www.businessinsider.com/george-soros-connection-to-voting-machines-2016-10

As a child in the 50's my father would occasionally tell me the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". The villagers eventually wise up and stop listening. Eventually everyone will simply stop paying attention to the conspiracy theorists who repeat every made up thing they read regardless of its credibility or source. The fact the poster had to question its veracity should have made him ignore it as BS. Now the danger is that when something does come along that might be truly damaging to our country, those who cry out will be ignored and they and the rest of us may be consumed by the wolf because no one is actually paying attention.
