He was very skilled at turning a phrase.

I  honestly don't find funny a lot of the things he joked about.

It's a shame that in todays culture he would have been called out for making fun of fat people, skinny people etc.  People take themselves to seriously today, we are loosing the ability to laugh at our selves.
