I grew up on the south side of Chicago until I was 18.

Worked at Comiskey Park for 2 summers as a vendor. (Ice cream, get your ice cold ice cream here!)

After having to join the janitors union, I worked at Wrigley Field on the grounds crew one summer. This was in the era of Ernie Banks.Rolling out the tarp, sweeping up after games.

I have seen ALOT of baseball and loved every minute of it. My Aunt never got to see her beloved Cubbies finally win the series, but my 101 year old Mother sure did!

Love those cubbies!
