Maybe, maybe not. Here's the thing. There were several variants made
SC530 = Valkyrie Rune - US 49-State, Standard Handlebars, Cast Wheels SC531 = Valkyrie Rune - US California, Standard Handlebars, Cast Wheels SC533 = Valkyrie Rune - US 49-State, Pulled-back Handlebars, Cast Wheels SC534 = Valkyrie Rune - US California, Pulled-back Handlebars, Cast Wheels SC535 = Valkyrie Rune - Canadian, Standard Handlebars, Cast Wheels SC536 = Valkyrie Rune - US 49-State, Standard Handlebars, Chrome Wheels SC53J = Valkyrie Rune - US 49-State, Pulled-back Handlebars, Chrome Wheels SC53K = Valkyrie Rune - US California, Pulled-back Handlebars, Chrome Wheels SC53U = Valkyrie Rune - Australian models
Each variant started with a 000001 serial number.
I don't have a lot of Rune VINs in the data base, but from what I do have,
1HFSC530 s/n 000005 had a 4/03 mfg date 1HFSC531 s/n 000024 had a 5/03 mfg date 1HFSC533 s/n 000008 had a 8/03 mfg date 1HFSC534 s/n 000002 had a 8/03 mfg date 1HFSC535 s/n 000003 had a 7/03 mfg date 1HFSC536 s/n 000018 had a 3/03 mfg date 1HFSC53J s/n 000014 had a 8/03 mfg date 1HFSC53K s/n 000014 had a 8/03 mfg date
Given that, its more logical that the SC536 variant, s/n 000001 was the first, but that's a wag.
