Very cool indeed.  cooldude

But during the learning/testing stages, I'd want to be over the water too.

One wrong move, and you are like a fly on a windshield.  Doesn't look like any do overs, look like it would just drill you into the ground.  I think I would rather have two wheels on the ground and two feet on the floorboards.

There are more videos of it. The first one I saw was over a year ago and he just went a short distance and back...very slowly and over water again.

only thing that sucks is the 15 mile range.  Now if it was 1 hour range,  I am willing to risk it, well maybe???   Roll Eyes

With a 15 mile range I could have used it to go to work. Think of the fun one could have thumbing your nose at the landlocked drivers in rush hour traffic.  Grin

I also saw this about a year ago, and he had set some kind of record.

I believe he has 5 gal of kerosene in his back pack. So range is based upon that. I would say less thrust (reduced height), a little more fuel (safe to carry, a couple of mounted 1L bottles on the base?), and trying for distance, yay, this would be great.

I live by the water, a 5 min walk to the river, jump on this, and at that speed, could be a long ways away from home. Maybe even across the Straight to Vancouver Island.

Based on my previous and youthful rodeo days, I doubt I have the balance to keep one of those things upright but, it would be a blast till I crashed it.   Evil

Which most likely would take all that long..... uglystupid2
