Not sure what he's trying to do.
Not at all supporting of his decision this summer. The investigation fell far short of FBI typical standards. Nothing under oath. No written record, etc. Yet comes to a conclusion and publically recommends, which is untypical but not unheard of, no further action to the DOJ.
Then in the 11th hour, well the 9th hour maybe, he torpedos the Clinton campaign with a letter to Congress about "more evidence" and continuing investigation. Which is fine, IF there was a preliminary investigation that led them to believe there was more to this. I mean, you don't blow up a PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN then say "nevermind".
Maybe he is trying to rectify his error in putting this all out in the court of public opinion in the first place.
Comey came with some great recommendations from across the political spectrum.
He really screwed the pooch on this one.
Geez, maybe a confidential preliminary investigation before we publically got Congress involved again?
Should have been done with it this summer presser and let sleeping dogs lie.
FBI needs to shut up or let her have it and how. Even Hillary deserves better than this.

So today he once again says, move along-nothing to see here. Does anyone really believe that? The corruption surfacing in this election makes the good ol' US look like a third world country. I believe the whole thing is orchestrated. Too much control by too few. What happens to the Obama-Soros grand plan if Trump pulls it off? Extremely unlikely at this point. Will he survive to be sworn in? Really think about that. I am afraid for the country I grew up in and am damn glad to be over 70 so I don't have to watch it go down. I feel for my kids-they will never have what we had over the last 60 years-it's gone. Hillary does not deserve better than this. Were she remotely honest, I'd agree-but she does not. Hillary deserves 20-40 yrs. behind bars.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. (Walter Scott)
The Foundation (and several other related) investigations continue. (hopefully, unabated to the quarterback)
One gets the impression that how they continue (and any results) largely depends on the outcome of the election.
Everyone who thinks Lynch gets replaced if the wench gets elected raise your hands. Though I suppose some lapdog owed a favor could get the nod. (same result, no indictments)
While riding today I saw a big Trump sign in a high visibility spot. It said Elect Trump. In big block letters, someone had hand painted across the bottom..... For the Love of God!!!
Thinking of this practically (not religiously), those are my sentiments exactly.
I'm sure God is thoroughly disgusted with most all of us. And who could blame him?
As far as the Comey announcement goes, it's just more CYA. There was more than enough to indict before, so how much more would be necessary to do so now?

And you expected something different. What a bunch of dumb asses we are in that case. The american aristocracy is not going to give up their crowns that easily. The only way they will give them up is the same way as last time. The only difference in this kingdom and the one in 1776 is the address of the king and his princes.

It took the FBI 1.3 years to go through 55,000 Hillary e-mails...
And now they're saying they cleared 650,000 in 9 days?
Something's rotten in the state of Denmark.

The first report said they found 33 emails. The 650,000 was reported by Trump at one of his rally's. Big surprise there

I've heard that figure a few times. Where did the 650,000 number come from ? "Investigators found 650,000 emails on a laptop that they believe was used by former Rep. Anthony Weiner and his estranged wife Huma Abedin, a close Clinton aide, and underlying metadata suggests thousands of those messages could have been sent to or from the private server that Mrs. Clinton used while she was secretary of state, according to people familiar with the matter." http://www.wsj.com/articles/laptop-may-include-thousands-of-emails-linked-to-hillary-clintons-private-server-1477854957"Some of the estimated 650,000 messages on the computer are linked to Clinton's time as secretary of state, and they are not duplicates of emails the FBI has already seen, CBS News reported Thursday. " http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3905696/FBI-probe-reveals-Weiner-s-laptop-DOES-contain-new-Clinton-emails-public-won-t-know-s-long-Election-Day.htmlThere's 2 non-Fox News sources I found...

So, really those were Wiener's totals. Thousands could have been to or from Clinton. You would know a lot more about this than I would. But if they were only expeditiously looking at the ones involving Clinton. It seems like they would pretty easily be able to cross reference the ones that they already had. So hypothetically if that left a few hundred. I think a team around the clock could go thru those pretty quickly.

A ten year old laptop of Weiner's. Any emails that were on there related to Clinton were personal, and duplicates of ones the FBI had already seen.

How did WE allow this to happen?
The formula has been known for millennia, it worked then, it works now: Bread and circuses. It only took 70 years for it to really happen. I place part of the blame on the greatest generation, I know I will catch hell for that remark, but: After they won the war they wanted better for my generation so everybody went to work to fulfill the American Dream. Work and money became the new family for our society and personal responsibility was replaced with blaming others for all that went wrong. Social services and the welfare state made sure that nobody was left out, which meant that more and more WERE left out until they became Mitt's 47%. Unfortunately, my generation didn't do much better. The power structure changed, the promisors became more fluent in their bullshit and more ate from the ruling class pig trough. The promisors then became the American aristocracy. Instead of calling them kings, princes and lords now we call them president, senator and congressman bought and paid for with our own money. They are not going to give up their crowns easily. They already know that we don't have the power to vote them out, look how few get turned out each election and how many have been there for 20, 30 years or more. Nothing has changed since 1776 except their addresses.

There will be doctorial theses written about the question for the next fifty years; men and women scholars will be awarded money and tenured positions in the nation's universities while debating these questions in political science classes over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Jobs creation in action. Anyone care to suggest a title for their thesis? Mine would be:"The Effects of the 2016 Presidential Election on the Propagation of Mental Masturbation Syndrome (MMS) in America." Sidebar: Check out "Graves" on the Epix Channel (Nick Nolte) if you have it. A few laughs there at the expense of all politicians.
