Stopped at an RC "airfield". Sunday was the last of a 4 day meet. There had been 85 "pilots" and about 125 different planes.

Woman friend said "look there's even a small figure in the cockpit" I looked at her with scant pity in my eyes and said "How else would it fly without a pilot"? She wasn't amused.

Another rider had stopped to take a look. He bought the 1981 CBX 2 years ago with 14,000 miles. It had been in storage for years.

Then on to Two Wheels of Suches for lunch. They close on Nov 27th until the beginning of March.

Best burger in north GA.

The pics threw me off for a sec. I forgot you didn't ride the ST anymore. Looks like a great day.

That would be cool to see an RC air show....never really see them around here. My wife and I always stop whenever we see events going on, especially in smaller towns on our multi-day rides. Always something new to see and learn and people to meet.
Thx for posting

Good looking airfield, trees look a little close but may just be the photo. I always had issue when scale planes had no pilots or any plane with a place for a pilot. I always said where's the little man, gotta have a little man. I think the plane is much more realisitic with a pilot even if its snoopy or some ugly monster!

Have always liked r/c modeling.  I don't fly planes, however.  Not really good enough.
I do like that P39 Aircobra.

Hope I ain't showin my azz here!  2funny Starting in the foreground and working in or up. U S Navy Avenger? P-47 Jug. In front the P-39 AireCobra. Behind the P-51 Mustang. Next the A-1-E Skyraider. The yellow one a Piper Cub. And the next one with 122 on the fuselage is I believe the F-4-U Corsair. Would have really liked to attend that meet!  cooldude Thanks Paul. RIDE SAFE.
