I hope everyone gets out and exercises their right to vote. I know it's been contentious, but this is still a GREAT country. Some people never get the opportunity their entire life. Don't let the talk of its rigged deter you.  cooldude

To avoid longer lines at polling places, Democrats are urged to wait until tomorrow to vote.  This will substantially reduce lines waiting to vote  crazy2

drove by dowtown and was a line in the hallway pushing outside - will wait until later when hopefully not as busy.

I really think if enough people who usually do not vote go out and do it,  it will favor Trump for sure maybe giving him enough edge to beat out the favorite to win so for being Hillary.

Was third in line to vote when the polls opened, could have been first but there was an elderly couple who arrived at the same time so, I let them go first.   They must have been married a very long time, she kept telling him why her candidate was better, he just kept nodding and said nothing.    As they went in, he smiled at me, winked and said, she'll never know who I voted for.   I held the door and he whispered, Trump.   All I could do was smile.

Too bad the Free Shi* Army Democrats have nothing better to do all day......Republicans have to work.
Voted last week in the morning and there was a line out the door even then.
BTW - I voted Trump, not Hildabeast/Soros

There was no line this morning when I arrived to vote.  My district (state?) provided the opportunity to vote early or vote by mail.  I'm a traditionalist so arriving at the poll on election day was right for me.

Voting this year was very easy for me.  On each line I simply asked myself how would Baldo vote? The answer to that question made every selection effortless.   Wink  Unfortunately (or fortunately) in my district my vote doesn't mean much.  Most of the voters in my area vote pretty much the same way I do.

On the radio on the way home I heard a man quote a sign he had seen.  The sign said. "No matter who is in the White House God is still in control."  That message is particularly meaningful to Christians but even to others the message can clearly be that regardless of the outcome of any election we are as individuals still responsible to do what we should do and to be what we should be. It may make life around me easier or more difficult but it does not change that I am to be what I have chosen to be and to do.

Please everyone who would vote exactly as I do get out and get it done.  The rest of you may stay home.   Smiley

I VOTED TODAY, AND IT FEELS GREAT!

Well that will be until the results come in, and I'm reminded of how wrong/left/moronic/ignorant/etc/... this country has become.

Wife and I just got back from voting.

Small line to wait in, but normally we have no wait.

Pollsters say they were very busy on opening, and that the real crunch time is noon and 3:30 PM and later. That would equate to the working crowd.

When we voted it was retirees and stay at home moms.

We are a small rural voting district of working families and retires.

Polls opened @ 0700. Wife and I were there at 0625. Third one in line. When I walked out, there was at least 125 waiting to vote.

And....if you live in Cook County, Illinois the mantra there is: vote and vote often!  Something well known and proven during the Kennedy/Nixon battle. That's not the only area in the country that's guilty of it but until the method & requirements for voting is improved, nothing will change.

My wife and I have voted via absentee ballots the last few times. With her health it's impossible for her to vote otherwise.

Oregon has vote by mail or drop off.  Ballots come in the mail to the address you have on record.  Had ballots for over 3 weeks.   Actually dropped off our ballots a week and a half ago.  Lots easier that way and no standing in line.

Just for those who don't know, the ballots have two envelopes.  One which you put the ballot with no markings on it, then the one which you put that envelope in.  The other one has to have your signature on it and it has to match your signature you gave them when you registered.  My Mom, who is approaching 99 and has trouble writing her signature, got caught last year as her signature did not match the one on record.  Good to know they are checking.

If you haven't voted, get out there and do it.

I voted at 8AM, waited until people who worked.  This was by far, the most I have ever seen at one time.  About 50 people waiting, took 20 minutes, including showing ID. 8 voting machines and it was effortless.

I voted for Baldo's least favorite.  Sorry,( not really. Smiley)

I just looked . The big parking lot at the American Legion voting place is full of cars at  11AM. Gonna be heavy voting today.

Voted this morning with my wife and youngest daughter. Reminding my whole family all day to ensure every one votes. I may not agree with each of them but they will vote. Sad to see Virginia talked about being a blue state. So many new voters around DC. In all our travels this year on our bikes we did not see 1 Hilary sign until a couple weeks ago. Thousands of Trump signs and Hilary for Prison signs. Hoping Virginia comes home this year to the Red side.

It's downright embarrassing to live in the former head of the Confederacy, and come up blue (which really should be pink, or yellow).  NoVA is the chief offender, but it's not like they don't get any help from our other urban (FSA) areas.

I have. DONALD TRUMP. Was that who I initially was backing ? Nope.... I would have voted for a banana before I would cast a vote
for that harpy and the Clinton Crime Family. There was me and one other person there at 1PM. Very encouraging in that lines were around
the block in 08,12. I live in Jonesboro, Ga.

No, we* value personal freedom, individual liberty, the Constitution (as written), States rights, and all (narrow) powers not specifically granted to the Fed, being reserved exclusively to the States.  And we stand ready to go to war again to get there.

*Of course, to my knowledge, there are very few ex-confederates extant.  But I count myself among them in spirit.

Called my Brother before I went to vote here in Missouri and asked him to see if Mom and Dad were still voting or had voted recently. Lost Dad first then Mom a fair number of years ago. Mom and Dad were originally registered in Cook county Il. but later in Cook county north-Lake county Il. I guess he should also check on my two departed sisters. Course the FACT that one of them lived in Delaware a goodly stretch of time BUT was originally registered in Il. probably wouldn't change much but it WOULD be interesting to see if any of them are still voting. Oh-wait-cursed near fergitted my B I L-he died last year. Last I heard he was registered in Lake county Il. RIDE SAFE.
