I am riding in to work Friday.

Got to ride yesterday

Today it rained all day so took the cage

It seems after reading DDT's threads I am unable to plan the weekend ride at this time. Perhaps the plan will reveal itself once I am on the road on Sunday.  Maybe BBQ at BigW's?   Anyone interested?

Rode to work today, plan on riding tomorrow.   Friday, I have to go to Detroit to pick up a vehicle and transport it to another location.   I really don't like going to Detroit.   Always a question as to whether or not to carry and go defenseless.

A welcome post cooldude  It's been a mixed bag as far as weather goes around here lately....certainly warm enough, but a lot of heavy showers mixed in with the odd clear day. This Friday we'll be be at the local Remembrance Day (our Veterans Day) assembly in humble little Maple Ridge, then if that window of decent weather for the afternoon that's poking through on the AccuWeather forcast tonight holds, the Mrs. and I will hop on the Valk for a lunch run as far away from town as time and weather will allow.
For the first time in many years, I'm looking to take the bike off the road for a month or two this Winter in order to attempt a few updates, so will try to squeeze in as many miles as I can for the rest of this month.

Weather here was "clousy" and drizzling off/on all day. Was planning on a ride to run some errands alone but ended up in the SUV with my honey. Ran some errands with her, had a late lunch(or early dinner), a couple more stops, then home. Tomorrow is supposed to be dry and sunny so plan to ride to a bud's house to help reorganize his shop/garage. He offered to help me do the same in my garage/shop, he has no idea what he's in for.  Grin  Friday will ride to the gym and Saturday plan to ride to a pizza party our Fla. gang is having, a little over 80 miles one way through the country. Trying to get as much ride time in as possible 'cuz after the hip replacement on 11/30 I figure it will be at least Christmas or later before I'll be back in the saddle.

Mike,
Give me a call if you do decide to ride Friday afternoon. I'd love to ride somewhere for lunch.

I haven't been riding as much as I used to. My band has been busy all summer and now I'm deer hunting along with it. Riding is a great mental release but so is settin in the woods lookin at nature and the critters. I just love to be outside doing no matter what it is.

I sure wish I could make it down this weekend but this is mid-terms week.  I will be grading exams all weekend.  Maybe take a break for an hour or two and get a short ride in, can hope.
Everybody ride safe and have fun, I'll be thinking about you and the honor that you represent this weekend.

The Miata has been put in storage. When the weather consistently goes below 55 degrees, the tires turn hard and square.  I could change to all season tires but then they won't perform like these UHP's.

My daughter is picking me up Friday for a free Veteran's Day breakfast, where she is volunteering to help.  My oldest son is doing the same at 5PM for another free one at Applebys. He is an Air Force veteran so we both will be dining together. It is nice to do things with my family.

Sorry, nothing interesting here as far as riding (driving)
