Thanks to everyone who turned out for the ride in. We had several groups go out on Saturday for a ride. Seems like all had a great time. Praying for everyone to have a great ride home. Missed some of our regulars this year.

What a great weekend Mac!

Sure enjoyed every bit of it, not so much the traffic on I40 though!

Looking forward to next year!

Good to see you again Mac, even if it was very brief... Smiley It took us a long time to get there, can't understand why .... Grin

Of course having a break down didn't help....

especially in Big Stone Gap, Va.  Charlie burned up a front wheel bearing on a 97, what are your chances of finding one there...The only way to find out what size it was, was to remove it, so off comes the wheel, out with bearing, sounds easy right, did I mention we were in a parking lot with limited tools..anyway we waited for Charlie to hit all the parts stores...

Mean while,  while waiting a fellow Valk rider shows up in a pick-up, just to check out our bikes....while he's here Charlie comes back, no luck, so someone suggests maybe a 4 wheeler shop, so our fellow valk rider drives Charlie down to a 4 wheeler place and behold he has a bearing that size but it's in a kit but who cares we got the bearing and off we go to get there...in the dark  Smiley

We get to Cookeville about 8:30 that evening, say hello, go get a room, grab some Mex food, run back to the room, get that squared away and down stairs to the party, it's now about 9:45....almost everyone is in bed already, even Smokin'joe is gone, maybe 5 or 6 guys left, kinda disappointing to see all my friends getting old Grin

We had good time even with the set backs, we'll try to do it again next year Mac, thanks

D-A-N-G, hate we missed ya!
With the DST change & gainin' an hour headed West we were probably in bed by 8:30!
(That'd be 10:30 by us "old coot" standards, waaaaay past my bedtime!)
Glad ya had a safe ride, & we'll catchya down the road sumwhers,
in a shady spot...

Don it was good seeing you guys if only for a short time. Hate you had trouble on the way down but it was good to have valk mechanics on the spot.
