I always wanted that one piece of bling, but never wanted to drill into my fender.

Thats why I haven't put the one on my rear fender, bought it about a year ago :crazy2:

Drilling your fender is one thing..... talk to all the guys who drilled their tire.   :2funny:

Yup, that's why you always put a block of wood between the tire and fender. Some years ago on a different bike, an acquaintance was about to install his extension. I was just being a "sidewalk supervisor" and saw he was really bearing down on the drill and suggested he use a block of wood in back of the fender. He flat told me he had it covered, then continued drilling. Suddenly.....sssssssssss followed by  some rather exclusive "terminology." Seems the old guy was right again!  ;)  Funny thing, he went looking for a piece of wood before drilling the rest of the holes....kinda like closing the gate after the horse is already out.  :uglystupid2:

Re. the Kewl Metal flamed fork covers, I've had those on my Valk for a number of years. I like the looks and does seem to provide a bit more protection. Can be a bit of a pain when cleaning/polishing in that area.

They still have them at that price. Ordered me one. Now I need to bite the bullet and get a matching one for the rear... or could wait for one of you eagle eyes to find one at a discounted price.  ;)
Thanks for the post, Ed

Unless I'm reading it wrong, looks like you have to get there credit card in order to get that price.

Eddy h, I do have that rear chrome piece you speak of for a rear fender. It's attach to a spare rear fender I have. Make me an offer and it could be yours that's for a complete rear fender. Turn signals, license plate holder and the chrome piece you speak of.

You don't have to get their credit card (visa/ master card) ok, you may need to open an amazon account which is free  :cooldude:

Glad you were able to get one at that price, hope others that were looking also took advantage of that deal because there now $58.32, a few dollars cheaper on other sites. :cooldude:
