Don't think that the media has learned its lesson.

This morning I was watching CBS morning news, don't do that normally.

The news is now slanted using the English language and other subtle means.  In the words of CBS, Obama is now in Europe  calming, reassuring, and showing restraint.  Shortly after that, CBS shows rioting in Europe, the US, and 'hate crimes' while Trumps name is mentioned innumerable times.

I quite watching after they were interviewing Megyn Kelly of Fox Network.  she was telling them how gross Donald Trump was.  After that she talked about her problems with Alles, the long gone chief at Fox. 

I think that it showed a subtle attack on Trump, Fox News, Bill O'Reilly, etc.  Kelly is probably going to leave Fox, from what I see. 

By the way, the newsprint media is doing the same thing. Associated Press is very good at advancing the liberal agendas while pissing on conservatives, all in the name of good journalism (yeah, right)

I have 3 things to say about the media and US citizens. One, Megan Kelly, Anderson Cooper, and the rest of them should not be bigger than the news. For some reason, perhaps because of all the social media coming so fast today, we have turned reporters into rock stars and celebrities. They are not! And when reporters become bigger than the news they report, we have problems. Two, since the election showed how close the last presidential race was, meaning almost a 50/50 split, I think they should be smart enough to just report the news, get there ratings up, and be unbiased. If an unbiased news channel ever came out, and actually reported the news, without analyzing, embellishing or being biased, they would probably lead all channels in ratings. Third, Donald Trump is now going to be president, like it or not. The press is already analyzing his every move. From going out to eat, to who he talks to, to his kids being involved, etc. Perhaps, since so much is at stake for the country and the future of our children, maybe we should let him get sworn in and see what he does rather than keep stirring the pot. The man is not even the president yet! Our forefathers motto, E Pluribus Unum was a motto that said "we are all in this together", perhaps someone can tell the press this message! Can bless our country and steer us in the right direction!

As for Wayne's lead I saw her on the cover of USA Today yesterday while at a store.  Later I read the article on the internet to find out what was happening.  She ran to Trump's office last spring to patch up things.  She thought they had, and since he has pretty much ignored her and that would be the best advise I would tell anyone.   I quit watching her some time ago, I will leave it at that.

Question Wayne?  While on CBS did she happen to mention the interview she had with Howard Stern back in 2010?  It is easy to find.   Miss Prissy Purveyor of men's morality is not immune to getting sexually whimsical herself.  But of course that does not count.    Does in my book.

GO TRUMP/PENCE, I do hope this is the beginning of fulfilling the promises I cant remember any elected official that stayed the course on their promises. Lesa and I quit watching Megyn Kelly as well. Started during the campaign when her obvious disdain for Trump began. She continually failed to keep the personal from the professional while doing her job.
I know I was laughing like Hell when Newt Gingrich easily put her in her place. That segment is on YouTube. 
Lesa seems to believe that Kelly is going to be replaced at Fox.

Aside from the so called news media celebrities, I am concerned about what is being taught to young impressionable minds today.  Sounds like a poor bunny rabbit philosophy with absolutely no emphasis on history and maybe even a contempt for our values.  

If the Draft ever comes back we would have to depend on these same young college students (if they wouldn't stampede to Canada) to be our Armed Forces.   They could end up with a Commission (Wow!)

Right now, we have.maybe, (I don't know for sure) many in the Armed forces who enlisted and signed a blank check but are not college graduates.  They are the unsung heroes who are being s*** on by the present administration.

Could we depend on most younger people to serve honorably in the Armed Forces if they were drafted?

I don't know. I was drafted and served.  I didn't know it at the time, but I must've been a deplorable, even then since I had only a high school education.

I read that also Robert.  The connected folks that so hated Trump ( some never Trump ) want to continue the gravy train and get a position. The jockeying and infighting to get these positions is intense.  I suspect this is always the case of the incoming President.   Of course the Old York Times is reporting the transition is in disarray and the usual nonsense just looking for a story.  Foreign leaders can not contact him blah blah blah.  Now myself I see this as a purge of the establishment something the old fellow made clear he would do, and I say full steam ahead.  As for the Foreign heads Trump tweeted out he has talked to many. I have been doing that for a while now...all my news/culture/media is what "I"choose on line...I cut the cable a while back...499 channels of hollywood crap and a few legit channels that I can view on the Internet. The cable costs go directly into my fuel tank for some    safe space seat time

They ALL created this insane division based on purposeful misinterpretation.  And now they are sitting back and watching all of this go down.

I don't expect any walkbacks from the media, but for Clinton and Obama to do nothing after creating this mess is a slap in the face to all Americans.  Especially to their own supporters who based their votes and emotions on their lies.

The other day, NY Mayor Deblasio called out to the protestors to keep up the fight and protest against Trump. Deblasio has had run ins with Trump over many issues, "stop and frisk" being one of them.  I can't wait til this idiots term is up. His tenure as mayor has been the worst since Dinkins let the city fall apart! Liberal politicians such as Deblasio, Clinton, and Obama, fuel the hate, and call all of us the haters when it works for them. As politicians who should lead, they should be telling these young protestors to give some time to the new administration. My prediction is that Trump has a long, uphill battle, but....the middle class that voted of him will see through all the BS being thrown around out there!

I've never been very interested in politics but this is great. I have my doubts about Trump but I did vote for him hoping for real change, not only in the country but in foreign policy. As to the media I still think a boycott of certain news outlets would wake them up. It helped during the NFL fiasco when fans stopped watching and should continue until they get the point. Watching these idiots complain about Trump eating out today was funny,they are idiots.
