Oh my gosh.  I am a bit ashamed for laughing so much.  Surely this must be an out take from some comedy that was edited and most of this never  happened.

You want fun, ride in a taxi in NYC. You want a heart attack, ride in a taxi in Taipei.

no thanks, never been in a real taxi and probably never will.  I prefer to drive myself and if traffic is too bad,  I just avoid it staying home or finding an alternative route or just head back home saying not worth the headaches.

I wanted to in washington DC a few years ago take my first taxi ride (or first subway) to avoid walking 3-4 miles one way all the time feet were killing me doing that for 5 days straight over 25 miles of walking in 5 days, but wife said skip it.  Plus, to just say I did both subway and taxi once in my life.

Yah, I know, need to get out more.

That video makes me wanna stay home.

Is it worse than riding motorcycle in florence or Rome

Rented a M/c in Florence, it was interesting, lots of 1 way streets and had no idea had to go anywhere

Fortunately as long as you are WOT you are ok    Shocked Shocked Shocked

In Rome saw half a dozen scooter accidents just on way from airport to hotel

You want fun, ride in a taxi in NYC. You want a heart attack, ride in a taxi in Taipei.

Many years ago I was stationed in Taipei and had a huge  Lincoln Hardtop, was going downtown when a small taxi careened out of an alley right in front of me, and I drove the driver side door halfway through it.  Hardly any damage to my car, but due to the law I had to pay a minimum fine for being at the scene of the accident.  Don't know if the laws are the same now, but am sure the traffic is much worse now.  Was a wonderful assignment for a young military man, got to take my family concurrent travel there, and think it was one of the highlights of my military career.

A guy I work with spends 200+ days a year in China.  He has seen people ran over then the driver gets out and kicks them for damaging their car. Even seen people dead in the street like they were a wild animal. Some factories he gors to have people working in the rafters, sometimes they fall to their death. They scoop them up and send another guy up in his place.

Some were funny but I'll bet some people died too. That trike rider must have given it too much power and lost front wheel traction,no steering at all,WOW!

That was hard to watch. Didn't see any humor in it at all. Looked like many died and were maimed.  Embarrassed

Definitely some crazy people.

Kind of makes you question why we should be buying the things that they make there as well.

I think the guy walking down the street and was ran over by the bus must be like superman or something, he just gets up and keeps on going wherever he was heading.
