Just watched a HBO Documentary . It was excellent. A young man went to Europe in WWII. He took photos along the way. I highly recommend watching it if you find this stuff interesting.

Made me look. Its new on HBO, so I won't get to see it... we're
watching The Crown on Netflix. The episode about the
1952 London smog that killed thousands of people (and
the other episodes) have been really good...

Will check Netflix, but most likely it wont be available in Canada.

Wasn't there a recent one earlier this year, newly found color films from WWII? It was from one photographer. I watched that.

I saw an advertisement for this and searched it out and recorded the show. Sat down and watched it last night. Should not be missed! Captured the war in a unique way. I will sit and watch again with my two teenage children. Friday night was not the night for them. Used to be but, not anymore.
I am a history buff of WWII but, I admit I watch with the intent of maybe just maybe, I might see my Father. Longshot I know but, ya never know.

I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was a very interesting and honest perspective .
