Today was 73 degrees with some gusty winds, but still a pretty good day for a ride.
Tomorrow, rain and snow likely and 40 degrees.

I got about 75 miles in, just sticking to back roads and such. This is the first time since June (VRCC rally) that I have gotten the Valkyrie out (due to my backfiring issue).  Mostly I ride the Triumph.

If you want to come along on Psychotic Bovine's bike "Magic Carpet Ride" click the link below.  Sorry about the crappy sound, still working on a good mic location.

My last ride of 2016 was last Saturday.  Rode the Valk into the basement workshop yesterday and pulled off the tank.  I do like to have gas down there.  We have had a very mild fall, but the temperature is dropping now and we may have snow on the ground tomorrow morning.

If you're still in the wind, I wish you safe journeys...

same here record high yesterday of 70 degrees and today 65 degrees but in last 3 hours has dropped 20 degrees with 30+ mph winds now - YIKES old man winter is a comin.....  but still have not put up the 2 wheels yet but probably should always hold off hope but next week highs only in lower 40s does not sound too promising.  I would like to see a high of 50 yet for a few days so I can put up all kinds of stuff in my garage to try to fit 2 cars in there before winter hits soon - always a chore to try to organize and fit it all in the garage.

Low tonight of 32 degrees and only into upper 30s for the weekend and blustery windy cold so not looking good for much activity this weekend outside.  always hope for next week/weekend right?  Roll Eyes

Dang Chris, wish I knew you were off today. I did my last ride too. I went Northeast through Hicksville to highway 6 then East to Napoleon, then rode Ohio Byway 424 along the Maumee back to Defiance then cross country to home. Covered about 150 miles. I stopped and filled up the tank and added some Startron then came back to the house and changed oil & filter, waxed her, hooked up to the Tender and put the cover on until March.

Yeah, that stinks!  Although my ride was half that.
I do need to change the oil on the bikes, sometime.....
