As a member of Company H-2nd Inf Bn-19th Inf Reg-24th Inf Div. Corporal Donald E. Matney lost his life 20 July 1950 while trying to slow down the enemy near Taejon S Korea. In March of 1951 unidentified remains were removedfrom near Taejon S Korea o Military Cemetery near Tanggok S. Korea. Nothing happened til May of 2016. His remains were identified and Corporal Matney's remains landed at the airport In St. Louis Mo. today at 10:44 local time. The P G R escorted from St. Louis to Rolla Mo. where more riders joined up and some dropped off. From Rolla Mo. to Cabool Mo. where more riders and me in my cage made the last 40 miles to Seymour Mo. where Corporal Matney will be laid to rest with FULL Military Honors. People were lining the Business route out of Cabool and more people were on every bridge we went under and folks standing here and there near the highway by their farms. When we tuned down the main drag in Seymour folks were standing shoulder to shoulder along the road and as we got closer to the Funeral Home I lost count of how deep they were lined up. K Y 3 out of Springfield Mo. had two camera crews there. On the way out I stopped at micky Ds and as I was sipping my coffee the 7 man Honor Guard from Fort Leonard Wood came in and the folks in the restaurant started applauding. Proud to be an AMERICAN Proud to ride for the P G R and Proud I live in Missouri a State that STILL obviously Gits It!

RIDE SAFE.
