Wow! What a load of bullshit. If that's where you're getting your information it explains a lot. I watched long enough to get the drift but shut it off after a couple of minutes. I have a few observations. I try to not use the terms moron and idiot unless I mean them as they are. When I hear someone start to refer to people with whom they disagree as morons I generally turn them off whether I agree with there general position or not. He made a lot of rather rash assumptions and accusations regarding the president-elect's cabinet selections, several I believe are dead wrong. My observation is that is someone so strongly disapproves of the president-elect why would anyone expect him to approve of the president-elect's selections? Liberals in general tend to classify restrictions upon middle eastern muslim immigration as a violation of the right to freedom of religion. What they fail to realize is that Islam from that part of the world is not a religion but a complete culture. I see restriction on immigration of people who refuse to accept the laws and customs of the U.S.A. as a positive thing.

I have this theory that when confronted with an opinion, other than their own Trumpers would rather attach then spend 5 seconds thinking about what was said. Thank you for proving my theory. Off to work.
I am at a loss to understand your sudden major change in behaviour. Looking back at your past posts I cannot find any where you have openly insulted other members. That is until recently. In fact the opposite has been the trend. In years past you have given others advice on the tech board, organized rides, participated in rides, expressed well wishes for both good and bad situations, expressed outrage over the injustice when a woman wasn't punished for killing two bikers, asked people to think of your wife when she was sick and announced the birth of your grandson. It appears to me that you have been a member here that many have been glad to call "Friend". Are you really willing to throw all of that away because of your disdain for Donald Trump? I'm sure you remember ole' Strong Eagle (SE), I think that I know what your opinion of his actions was: SE made another post? I should go and read it, , , wait, I can go visit my Grandson instead and not waste the time! Whether you realize it or not your postings of the last few days are very similar to his rants. In fact, that's EXACTLY who you had reminded me of when I responded with the Forked Tongue remark. We get it, you don't like Donald Trump. But many of us here do. He wasn't my first choice, but he won the nomination, he won the election and he isn't Hillary Clinton. Trump is an unknown and only time will tell the story. But, for the FIRST time in years I have hope for our country again. That's how many of us feel. Whether you realize it or not your #notmypresident is very divisive, especially here. Is it really necessary? Are you really willing to let your hatred of a single man destroy the friendships and reputation that you have developed here? Do you really want to let your hatred of a single man place you into the same category as the likes of Strong Eagle? Judging from what I've read of your previous posts, I think that you're better than that. But, just like the question of whether Trump will be a good president or not, only time will tell.

Wow Oberman is a total a@@hat, with a load of words that mean nothing. Just like the froth on a cappuccino.
"HR 347, just signed without fanfare or news coverage by Barack Obama makes it illegal to protest anywhere the Secret Service is present. Who is present everywhere that Barack Obama goes? That's right, the Secret Service. Ergo, it is illegal to protest Barack Obama. Well, there goes the 1st Amendment."
Trump is not even in office yet so who is the physic who knows what will happen and of course while Oberman is frothing what about Obama and the law above we never heard alot of fanfare about.
I will also remind all that Obama ran on an open administration and that has turned out to be one of the most secretive.
So all you not my president types and liberals we have come out of a draconian dictatorship and you dont see it, but wall street sees it as the highest its ever been, even Apple is considering bringing production back to the US, now wouldn't that be amazing.

I think we all need to get over this booing thing. It is a country based upon free speech after all right?
In 1968, Philadelphia Eagles fans booed Santa Claus and pelted him snowballs. Heck, I once heard that even Mother Teresa would be booed in Philly if she missed a free throw.

It would be wonderful to have a time machine that we could put the likes of Keith Olbermann in so we could send him back to time where he could truly realize what the terms racism, fascism, Nazis, bigotry actually meant and were applied. Somehow, in his world, these are now the definitions of someone that simply disagrees with him. The Constitution provides an amazing platform for the press and in that capacity he does everyone a great disservice. The Constitution also protects one's right to be a complete imbecile and he nails that one like a Russian gymnast on steroids.

Decades ago, I attended an Alice Cooper Christmas concert in Detroit. For their final encore, Santa came out to a standing ovation from the crowd. Then one of the band members got down on all fours behind him and they pushed him over, then they beat him up. The crowd loved that too. Crowds of humans are dangerous and untrustworthy, and I avoid them at all costs. A long time ago a member of the press asked, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? The press hasn't gotten much better since then.

3 fan, nice post, you said what I thought myself
I've met fathertime a few times up at Lake George and was surprised at the vitrol in his posts lately.
As the NY rep, (kind of like herding cats and I did not ask for the job but am proud to wear the title) I do not condone members deliberately mis spelling members names, calling each other names or the like
Of course, I have ZERO power to do anything about it other than call it out when I see it or send a PM

Maybe there are two sides to farthertime just as we may see another side to Donald Trump than fathertimes description.
On another note I am somewhat happy to see we can use the term BULLSHIT without having the post pulled. I promise not to overuse the term as to lessen it's impact. But these political posts are so full of bullshit one needs hip boots.

Let's try this again, and on the right side of the quotes. Again, thank you for taking the time to research who I am, and what I have done in the past. Without politics involved, let me try to explain this sudden change you mentioned. Before I go on, understand that it's hard for me to go back and forth to quote. So I'm going to paraphrase. I'm paraphrasing people, don't get in a twit if it ain't letter for letter right. The first comment posted after mine called me a typical liberal. As Rams don't like people forgetting his name, I don't like being placed in a box. And I was. Numerous times. Then I was told to leave the country. It was insinuated that I was not intelegent enough to realize that this board was not tied to twitter Then I was called a coward. Then I was (I feel) intentionally mis-quoted, so I was placed in a worse light. And perhaps most painful, it was suggested that I tattoo that hashtag on my forehead. Like a neo-nazi. Given that Gramps escaped (fled) Germany to escape a worse fate, I hope how people can understand how that hurts. I didn't keep a detailed list, but you get the idea. Did I fight back? You betcha. In force. I am no saint, and not good at turning the other cheek. Let's be honest here, both sides threw punches. The hashtags thing...... Honestly I had no idea that people would react in such a manner, but it's hard for me to back down sometimes. As it is for many in this thread. Is it my intention to throw away good friends? Not in the least. Ì was, honestly and truly hoping for open discussion. Sad that it never happened. I truly wish that I had the confidence some of you have for the future, but try as hard as I might, I don't have it. Riots have erupted. Hate crimes are on the rise. Neo-Nazi groups are becoming more public. And last week, when my daughter and grand daughter (you know, the one I was so proad of I announced it on this very board) were in NYC they observed a PEACEFULLY AND QUIET anti-Trump campaign, and cheered them as they passed. On the way home, both daughter and grand daughter were told that the protesters AND THEM needed to be gassed. Really? That all being said, I love my country. I feel it IS great, and we don't need no stinking slogan to prove it. I still hold my values, I can't back down on them. THAT would be cowardly. I hope, truly, that I do not loose any friends over that. But what would I be teaching my grand daughter if I did? Again, thank you for your kind words and investigating who I am. OSS, thanks to you also for supporting my character.

Look at what has been happening over the last years under Obama. BLM riots. Violent protests everywhere against Trump and conservatives.
Shooting cops on sight, just because they are white, or they are cops. Anti cop rhetoric from the leaders of the Dems, and from the White House.
And, now, you think crap is happening from supporters of Trump? Maybe a bit, but a tiny fraction of what has been going on AGAINST Trump, his supporters, and his ideas. In fact, I believe it is one of the biggest reasons he was elected.

Trump speaks his mind and mostly without a PC filter. That in itself is probably why he has been able to connect with the common man. I don't believe that makes Donald Trump a Racist or any of those other things that you fear he is. I know that Barak Obama is a racist and many of the fears that I had about him have proven true. Thankfully, many also have not. I also have a grand daughter, the difference beween you and I is, that because of Donald Trump being elected President I now have hope for her future. My hope is not entirely based in the man, I don't believe that he is a saviour. My hope is based in an electorate that stood up and said, "Enough is Enough". My hope is based in a belief that Trump will surround himself with good people who are strong capable leaders and that he will take their advice. My hope is based not in the Donald Trump that we saw running for President but in the Donald Trump that I saw giving his victory speech on election night. That Donald Trump was humbled and seemed to realize fully the weight that was now on his shoulders. So to you and others that fear a Donald Trump presidency I would ask you to take a "wait and see" approach. The riots and the protests will settle down and he will be the president for all of us, even the ones that aren't happy about it. Those of us that didn't want Barak Obama to be president had to accept him as such. It didn't mean that we had to like it and it didn't mean that we weren't going to complain about his leadership. And yes as Americans we do have the right to criticize our leaders but we should criticize them for their actions or inaction. Not simply out of fear. Ultimately, God is in control anyway and if our nation will turn to Him, He will deliver us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Today is Thanksgiving so let's all take the day off and be thankful for all the blessings that we have.

Hate crimes are on the rise.
I'm gonna take this one line, because it's a pet peeve of mine... No, no they're not... The vast majority of supposed "hate crimes" have been hoaxes. Article about this (From a magazine that is NO fan of Trump!) with sources listed: http://reason.com/blog/2016/11/11/election-night-hijab-attack-false

Again,, most of our media and news sources are a bunch of liars pushing their own agenda. We have to do so much research on what is reported to prove it out or filter out the bias that is crazy. And Trumps meeting with the media a couple days ago and ass chewing and calling them out was welcome by me. About time it was done.

EVERYTHING now that happens, even if not a hoax, will be labeled a "Hate Crime" by the Left. Everything. Yet, almost NOTHING that the left does is a hate crime. ie, Blacks pull a white guy out of his car, beat him up. NO HATE CRIME. Yet, if three whites do the same to a Black guy, it is instantly a HATE CRIME, and all conservatives are called upon to denounce it.

I truly wish that I had the confidence some of you have for the future, but try as hard as I might, I don't have it. Riots have erupted. Hate crimes are on the rise. Neo-Nazi groups are becoming more public.
My post was non-political in intent. I placed no blame on the rise of actions. I was, however making an observation. Please show me exactly WERE I placed the blame on them on ANY party, groups of party's or person.
