Well that about sums it up

But for those who like to read ride reports here goes........

It was kinda breezy this morning and the skies were loaded with those cumulus clouds that were not going to make any rain.

The clouds were really tearing ass across the sky so I went into the garage and looked at the motorcycles.

The Valkyrie (I really think so) moaned when I opened the garage door as I stepped into the garage from the house.

So I said to Bonnie, I have to take the Dragon for a short flight  and as usual she said OK

What a woman

Anyway mesh jacket and the cheapo rain liner and of course checked the air pressure in the tires  38 front and 42 rear- perfect for a ride at 40 degrees.

Headed up to the goat trail for a few passes as its only 10 miles from my house - a clear benefit to living in Ossining !

Saw 2 bikes heading the other way, no police

The gusts at certain points, if you are not ready could be downright hazardous but I know this mountain road and when I got hit with a 40mph cross wind I just would grunt  and gas till it was over.

Soon the smile was pretty wide and I made a second pass

Coming back down 9 the wind was mostly behind me once past Peekskill's sweepers and the view across the Hudson was excellent  Lots of whitecaps on the river - no pleasure boats today !!

Gassed up and took this pic as I walked into the house

Love that pic Oss, post it any time you like.

Took off to ride this afternoon for a bit.   Didn't make if far and past a neighbor's place and saw that he was working on a felled tree in his yard with a chain saw so I stopped to help.   Two hours later, I got back on the fat gurl and rode home.   Damn limbs, trunk and crap was heavy.   He needed the help more than I needed the ride.    Still, got the heart rate up and was almost as much fun.  Wink

Baldo, I just bought heated gloves a couple of months back to start my heated gear collection. Granted, my ride to work is only 20 min. each way on back country roads, but they work pretty good. Temps have been down in the upper 20's.
