http://www.westernjournalism.com/mastermind-behind-911-admits-that-george-w-bush-prevented-a-second-wave-of-attacks/According to The Washington Post, Mohammad claimed all those critics were wrong and admitted that al-Qaeda thought the Unites States would respond to 9/11 in a similar fashion as they did with the 1983 bombing of Marine barracks in Beirut. “Then he looked at me and said, ‘How was I supposed to know that cowboy George Bush would announce he wanted us ‘dead or alive’ and then invade Afghanistan to hunt us down?'” wrote Mitchell. He continued: “KSM explained that if the United States had treated 9/11 like a law enforcement matter, he would have had time to launch a second wave of attacks.” He was not able to do so because al-Qaeda was stunned “by the ferocity and swiftness of George W. Bush’s response.” Mohammad expected that the U.S. would only arrest terrorist operatives and fire off a couple missiles into empty tents; other than that, al-Qaeda anticipated on being left alone. Mitchell’s new book also details how Islamists ultimately wants not to destroy the United States through military attacks, but by taking advantage of its immigration system and “outbreeding nonmuslims”. [ EXACTLY WHAT HUSSEIN OBAMA A MUSLIM HAS BEEN DOING!!! ] “It would be nice,” [Mohammad] said, if al Qaeda or like-minded Islamists could bring America to its knees with catastrophic attacks, but that was unlikely to happen; ‘not practical’ is the wording he used,” wrote Mitchell. “From his perspective, the long war for Islamic domination wasn’t going to be won in the streets with bombs and bullets and bloodshed. No, it would be won in the minds of the American people.”

It's good to see what most of us thinking people already realized put in print.

I like this comment because it is exactly what Slick Willie was doing with every event, treated it as a local police response. Can we deduce that Clinton empowered them and CAUSED the 9/11 attack? everything I read confirms all of this is a UN one world plan.
He continued: “KSM explained that if the United States had treated 9/11 like a law enforcement matter, he would have had time to launch a second wave of attacks.”

Should we remind that those talibans were created, trained and funded by CIA to fight the Russians way back in the 80's?

Actually it was the Soviet Union. Changes the model somewhat.

Actually it was the Soviet Union. Changes the model somewhat. How so ? It was the Soviet Union. The Cold War was on. Soviet move into Afghanistan was a strategic threat. The option to fund and arm the Afghanis in their effort to repel the Soviets was reasonable.

I thought you meant there was some discernible difference between the Soviets and the Russians.
