not going to outrun the police in most instances.  This is one of those instances I wish I had a clunker car opening the car door to take the cyclists down.   At least he did not get run over I guess going down as safely as possible at lower speeds hitting that car with not much damage done.

a kid in our high school class has a toyota mr2 back in the 80s and at night on rural country twisty roads did outrun our local police chief never got caught.  But, he should not have bragged about it the next day at school since tell the wrong person,  he will be caught.
