I just bought a 1998 Valk 1500 standard this year and want to paint it and customize this winter. If anyone knows who is offering bagger parts like stretched bags, fenders etc any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Don't think anyone makes stretched bags. The bike is wide enough now.

None available that I'm aware of...however, you could buy some stretched bags for a Harley and modify some mounts and fit them to your bike.  That's basically what I did to mount the bags that I wacted.

You going you have to modify a fender yourself.

Stretched is an ambiguous term for bags.  (please don't go here)

The largest bags for Valk are the Tsukayu Jumbo Strongs.  Fat would be a better adjective than stretched.  Stretched bags will melt on the pipes or be mounted higher than the fender (or maybe both)... pick one.

No info on fenders (the ones on the bike are pretty good, unless you want to chop them up or put a smaller VTX fender on the front.  I think big honkin' saddlebags and a bobbed rear fender would be..... funky.

I think this look would be great on a custom valk.

He is looking for bags that stretch in height. Like the HD craze where the bags wrap the exhaust and end up near flush with the bottom of the exhaust. Looking to copy the HD nagger look. I don't know of anyone that does that or who has tried to do it on a Valkyrie. In a hard corner the bag would drag I'm afraid. Good luck with your project and welcome the the club.  cooldude

I agree on the leaning into a curve but, I'd also like to see what it looked like.

Not trying to get anyone to spend hard earned cash but, I think it might be worth the effort.   cooldude

Nope, just two interstates, one a permanent supervalk.

I like them too (esp on a Std).

You might check to see if anyone makes anything for a VTX1800 (I'm pretty sure I've seen stuff like that on them before) and see if it will adapt to the Valk.
