I've belonged to my local sportsman club for 20 years or so. I used to be very active with archery, trap, fishing, and the range. Last few years I only visited the range a few times a year.
I went to my first monthly meeting in years last week, and was pleasantly surprised.
Now before i say why, remember, I live in the world of Massholes. There are more butt-hurt, bed-wettin, bleedin heart snowflakes per square mile here it seems than anywhere.
OK, so to start the meeting, we all stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. Everybody stood, removed their hat, and put their right hand over their heart. Nobody took a knee...then we had a moment of silence for the fallen members from the year past. Total silence. Respect. Wow...with all the PC BS going on in the world, I forgot what normal people were like. Think I'll go back next month!
Oh yeah, I also won a nice trail cam in the raffle   cooldude

Cool post Craig,

You got to remember, we live WEST of I-495, so  " butt-hurt, bed-wettin, bleedin heart snowflakes per square mile"  is considerable lower, than on the EAST side.

Except in "Five College Area" around Amherst.

So where does that put the Cape on your map? We're right at the end of 495...  Evil

Bob, if I ever have the need to visit a real freak show, I'll head to the end of 495, and continue over the bridge.
At this time the Cape isn't even on my map... 2funny

He probably means riding map.

I haven't been to the cape for over 20 years and that was at off season.  I probably will never go there again, just way to many people.

I understand being a native, you're used to it, more power to you, but I'd go crazy dealing with the crowds.

But if you want to see freak show, just continue down Rt 6  to the end.
