No degrees at the house, wind steady 20-25 out of the NW. Got to work and it's 2 degrees. Should be a fun day paving. Mix is cold as soon as it comes out of the truck. Makes it a little hard to roll.

I thought paving plants shut down when it's cold?

 4 degrees at my house this morning.  Not quite as bad as 10 below.  Sunday it will be in the 50s in Metro Boston with rain.  I'll take it.

I thought paving plants shut down when it's cold?

When fuel to heat the plants overrun the profit of the product, plants shut down here.

Temps have risen to 6 below here Tony....winds are still howling !!!
This weather is more like end of Jan mid Feb, not mid Dec.
Looks like we may get a warm spell Sunday ourselves....mid 40's and wet.
