FUZION
TOURING (H- OR V-SPEED RATED)
195/55R16
Sidewall Style: Blackwall
$58.46

Thinking of giving this tire a go on my Standard (bobber, I think, haven't decided yet)

I want a thinner than the 205 and the 55 for lower.

Anyone running one of these?

I run a Austone TT on my daily two up and I like it, just want something lower.  I had a bolt or some road hazard hit my swingarm and cut the sidewall on a BFGoodridge 205 I was running, so I want to stay thinner.

Any suggestions?

I have no idea what that ire looks like but I am using a

The tire has a good rounded profile. The best car tire I've used so far.

Bill, I've been running 195/60 for the last 30k or so. I like it. I haven't looked to see how much shorter the 55 is. Maybe 1/2 inch than the 60 ? I think it would be fine.

Hey Paul, that tire does look good, how much clearance to the swingarm?

I have no idea. It hasn't rubbed in 6,000 miles with my fat ass on plus full saddlebags and a full bag of stuff on the rear.

Did you have a tire balance issue? Or was that someone else?

Good memory  cooldude On my second Yokohama there was an uneven wear. It never felt out of round or balance. Maybe because the beads compensated for it. I'm still not sure what the deal was. That was my 4th Yokohama. The other 2 were the 205/60 Avid Envigor. Never any issues with the other 3. So far this Achilles has felt great. But I've only got maybe 700 miles on it.

Yeah, I got a good memory, it's just short. Roll Eyes

700 miles sounds like you should know whether it's good or not, so I guess it's good.  Cheap too.

If the CT does not touch when sitting still unloaded, it will not touch swingarm at any time.  It may hit the fender bolt though if load gets heavier!
