that is one heck of an accomplishment even if in Florida.

This guy must have balls of steel and/or 1/2 a brain to ride in zero degree temps and 20+ inches of snow on the ground even if on a 200cc studded on/off road bike.  Heated gear can only go so far.  Something to be said about risk vs. reward.

I once saw in a nearby town of 10K people at a stop light with 2-3 inches of snow on the ground below zero for temps an older goldwing with huge cardboard windshield, the guy in a snowmobile suit pulled off the stop light very gingerly.  Who would be at fault if he got run over by the car next to or behind him if he went down in traffic? uglystupid2

One of my neighbors who retired from the logging industry a few years ago rode to work every work day, all winter long. He had one of the big old Honda on/off road bikes with a big windshield. I'd pass him some winter mornings when he was headed to work. Might be snowing, might be way below zero, might be sleet or an ice storm, he'd still be ridding and always with a big cigar clenched between his teeth. (yes, open face helmet)

He used to race and win at the local motorcross tracks and he was unbeatable locally when it came to hill-climbs. He was also a Hodaka dealer and still had a running Super Rat the last time I asked him about it.
