Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

It will be interesting to see if it gets passed. I don't personally have a dog in this fight simply because I'm not dumb enough to ride without a helmet. I've heard many say a helmet is too restrictive, I maintain it's not as restrictive as a wheelchair for the rest of your life....assuming you survive.  :uglystupid2:

My sentiments also, if I had not had one on a few years ago, would not be here.

Never undersTood the no helmut thing.  :uglystupid2:
I think it should be your right to choose but also think that if you are in an accident without a lid and have a head injury no. Medical care should be taken to keep you alive As a vegetable for tax payers to provide your diapers.

Riding with no lid is just mind boggling to me. I wrote a paper on this last year for college. The only way to reduce medical costs now that insurance coverage is mandatory is to NOT use services unless needed. Head injuries from no helmet accidents are now felt by all policy holders in overall medical insurance pricing.
