What tool?

I want to clean out all my crankcase vent plumbing.  I need to remove the drool reservoir and it appears to be attached to the back of the ignition switch. The switch looks like it's fastened with a star drive bolt.  I don't want to buy a set if I can buy or borrow the correct one.  Any insights?

That's a Torx driver tip that's required. I believe the Torx head screw is 6mm, but unsure of Torx driver size. They're available at any hardware store for a buck or two.

Why do you want to do that? Is the Dragn Drool not flowing to the drain out cap?

The removal is mostly cosmetic.

In the past, I've put K&N pods on Valks, removed the air box and installed a K&N breather filter.  My guru had been running a '97 that way for, probably, ten years.  I intend to cap off the air box where the hoses connect.

20 years ago my father-in-law needed a torx to adjust his headlights... we fumbled around and
made do with something or other... so I got him a torx set that Christmas...he passed about 10 years
ago, that torx set (unused) ended up with me... I replaced my ignition switch this weekend, and when
I got the cover off, there were those two torx screws staring at me... it was very satisfying having
the right tool!

You don't have to worry about a star drive, thes bikes run on impulse!

A lot of times in a pinch I have used a Allen wrench, it will also work.
