:cooldude:  I have saved up for the bike and I have saved up for a pile of cool parts, For this project I will have ALL the parts at once instead a little at a time. I usually build up 4x4's like Suzuki Samurais, toyota FJ40's and Yamaha Banshee's. The 4x4's aren't cheap to trick out so I would do a piece at a time. And usually a year to complete. Not this time! Just 1 dissasemble, 1 build up. Can't wait for the UPS guy to deliver a pile of goodies! Anyway, this is the bike just the way I bought it. Call it a "before" photo. Man, it sure is a fantastic piece of engineering.

i hope the pic shows

Nice to begin with.  Good to have a great foundation.  Please post pictures of the FJ40's.  I like the looks of those.

Pappy!

What a great foundation!
Remember (if you are interested at all) that we usually gather and ride these up into the mountains or somewhere one or more times a year so keep it comfy.

I agree with you 100% Im not cutting anything on the Bike, Im removing fenders, bars,Triple trees, seat, turn signals, lights, windshield, tires, and putting them up in the attic. I agree, the stuff is just too pretty to cut up. I bought alot of used body parts to cut up and re paint. Im doing a 4 degree rake as well, polishing the wheels, dark side tire, Im making my own seat from a used one, fenders too. bar end LED turn signals, Wide western Bars, Going "old School" I figure I can always swap it back to stock sometime if I want to. here is my Samurai, 1 of a kind, for sale at $12k. You name it, its got it.  [/img]
