depends on where you mesure, i used the kuyakain p clamp 7/8 to 1 inch for my drive lights but i had to make a rubber shim for them cause the bar aint round

fudgie

Mostly at the botton of the timing cover. Might do fog lights and gonna used some 'P' clamps.   :-X

Fudgie, I have driving lights mounted to the top of the crash bars with Kury P-Clamps which Kury says are for 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" bars.  Had to take up the extra space with rubber strips, which isn't all bad, since the rubber cuts down on the vibration on the lights.  The lights are Lazer Star Shorties with 75 watt bulbs and they are bright...JTL

i dont have the pods in my tourer so mine are closer to the frame. and is that a harley keyfob in that pic pharmboy? :tickedoff:

No "hardly" key fob!  The insert says OSU (Oklahoma State University), where my two youngest sons went to school.  Don't ever send your kids to school there or they will forever be in Stillwater, Ok.!  Without the pods, you will have a much better installation than I.  The bar is already beginning to oval in the beginning of the curve where I had to attach the P-Clamps.  The best prices I found on Lazer Star lights was at http://www.mooreparts.com/store/search.asp?field_product_brand=lazer%20star%20lights.  ;)

They are 1 1/8" at the 9 and 3 O'clock outside (and thereabouts), and they are 1" top and bottom (and thereabouts).

like the handlebars I think the crash bar was engineered to be a non-metric size to make after market parts easier.  Think I read that somewhere. :crazy2:
