This being the season, I was wondering if anyone has tried these or any like them (there are apparently a number of different choices/makers)? The old school wires in the sox (which felt like walking on pencils), was followed by wired heated insoles, but most do not have heated pants liners, so you still had to have wires running down your pant legs. Now this is a rechargeable and remote controlled, wireless heated insole with like a 4-5hr run time (2-hr recharge). Yeah they are a little spendy, but the feet want what the feet want. I don't do enough really cold riding and my good boots and heavy sox do a good job (and my Winter rides are not that long). Would also do double duty with outdoor work or hunting too. Anyway, what do you think? http://www.staywarmed.com/best-rechargeable-heated-insoles-review/ https://www.amazon.com/Thermo-Soles-Heated-insoles-rechargeable-wireless/dp/B002QCM774?th=1

Do they have them in men's sizes? The link is for womens sizes. Not sure about the controls being under the heel, but, if your not walking much with them, might not be any problem

52% of the reviews gave only 1 star, with most complaints being they only worked for a short time, then never.
Sounds like a great idea, if they figure out how to get them to work right.

Like maybe with a 3.0 ah lithium ion battery like a good drill/driver has...
And keep an extra one in your saddlebag on the charger...

There are wired foot warmers, why bother with these if you want them for one the bike.
Now, going out for walks, my feet don't get cold, since I'm moving. Hands are a different issue, being on blood thinner.

Well crap, sorry guys, I did not read the Amazon reviews (I almost always do), just the promos. Enough bad ratings to believe them all. Don't work, stop working, short warranty, multiple replacements, Chinese made........ If I'd read them, the post would never have been put up. Garbagio. There are wired foot warmers, why bother with these if you want them for on the bike.Easy, because of the wires down my pants legs.

No need to apologize, it's a good idea and would be worth the money if they worked.

I have the thermocell brand I use for hunting. They work great as long as your boots are not too tight. I found they work better with loose fitting boots. I normally wear regular boots because of my skinny foot but my hunting boots are wide. I also wear thin wool socks to get more direct heat on my toes. Mine cost about 120 bucks and have been well worth it. I also have a heated jacket that works well.

for 98 bucks you can buy a good sorel or other winter boot easy enough or like said those toe warmer bags work fine for a few hours of cold weather.
I do not have issues with cold feet ever, but others skinnier than me do in my family.
waste of money at 98 bucks for sure.
I once, and ONLY once, spent 3 LONG days at devils lake ND ice fishing in -10 to -20 degree temps and only got my face and hands cold, but not really my feet gotta keep wiggling them or walking around some is all.
I must admit though my 99 dollar windproof and 2 in 1 mesh jacket with armor is the best 99 bucks I ever spent on any attire purchased ever almost feeling bulletproof while wearing it.

I use some hand warmers like this in my gloves if needed. They go on sale every spring 6pair/$1.00 at Fleet Farm. Never thought about using in the boots though.
