Proof that there is a God with a wicked sense of humor.

Have this image of God at the head of a craps table lined on either side with multitude of angels.

God says "Alright, I have this guy get clipped by a car and wipe out on his bike"

Angels murmur and then God says "THEN I will have his bike hit a light pole, the pole will then fall and bonk him on the head!"

The angels cheer and God says "Place your bets!"

Bonk on the head to win!

nothing like this, but I once many years ago got out of bed to go poddy in the middle of the night.  Not knowing that I must have at times low blood pressure getting out of bed in the middle of the night was sound asleep,  I was standing up in bathroom doing my duty and passed out and hit my head on the rod in the shower surround cracking the bar in two built into the fiberglass shower surround.

I woke up with my wife standing over me yelling at me to wake up, very odd feeling to feel clammy and with a HUGE bump on top of my head.

Then, soon after that my wife passed out on me in the hallway in the middle of the night and lo and behold I got up and we BOTH woke up together both passing out in the middle of the hallway at night all clammy and sweaty not knowing what the F just happened.  VERY odd feeling for sure.  Undecided Cry

So, YES,  stay in bed is best, but when you gotta go, ya gotta go....  Grin

yep have CO2 detectors in our house.

I think it is just sometimes both of us get up in the middle of the night to go poddy, etc. and our blood pressure drops passing out sometimes.  My wife recently this summer has even felt dizzy when outside say working in the garden bending down and then standing back up straight feeling light headed and woozy/dizzy.  Also, our daughter has done the same thing now 3x's the past couple of years the last one at college recently seeking medical attention.

If  you're experiencing Blackouts, have your DR re-evaluate the B/P meds that you're on.

Many B/P meds have bad side effects.

The good news is that they're many different meds to choose from and most people can find one that will work without  serious side effects.

That is one of those things that shouldn't be funny.

But it's hillarious!  Evil

That used to  happen to me. Get up too quick in the morning or be kneeling down and stand up too quick and almost pass out. Went to the Dr. and had some tests run. ( I have really low blood pressure). Turns out that I have a condition called Vasodepressor syncope. They gave me a beta blocker that raised my blood pressure slightly and the problem completely went away. Sounds like you have something similar and may want to do some research.
