Here I am on my day off, doing housework like my wife told me to do. Surfing the VRCC boards, instead of out riding on a beautiful 50* day.  tickedoff I'm ashamed of myself.  coolsmiley

Thanks...

Happy wife, Happy life!

After a few years of retirement, it finally dawned on me that if I make the bed before the wife gets home from work, she is happy. BONUS points for finishing the laundry.

She's a slave driver ! Can you believe she asked me to sweep and mop ? Unfortunately she volunteered us to run my In-laws to Sam's Club later. My FIL took a bad fall and bruised his ribs the other day. My MIL is going nuts being cooped up in house. They are pretty good people for Trump voters.  2funny

The main subject in the topic list is changed, thank you, that's what I was mostly concerned with. And I know, I'm being a little overly sensitive, thank you for changing it.

Nothing new on the Bobber.  Waiting on parts and springs and Spring.

Not overly sensitive at all.  cooldude I haven't had kids looking over my shoulder in a lot of years. I forgot what it was like. I sure wouldn't have wanted to try to explain that phrase back in the day. My apologies.  Embarrassed

I think I was 12 when I was helping my Dad make a fence on the farm and he said "Hey we need to talk about sex"!  I said "ok, what you want to know"  That was far as that talk went.

I mop and clean at my house all the time. She works just as hard as I do, so we should share. I also fed the kids a bottle when they were young and changed their pants. Has worked for almost 40 years

I think I was 13 when my Dad tried to have "the talk" with me. It was clear his great discomfort. I had never seen him like that before. I finally just told him I already knew all about it. Even though I knew squat.  2funny Sex talk was never spoken of again between us in the following 38 years.
I'm not near as equitable in the housework ratio. I MIGHT do 30% of it and that's being charitable. I did change diapers though.  Smiley

No wife, and I'm (quite) happy to do all the laundry, cleaning, cooking, and all general purpose housework myself.  (No ironing in over six years though)

Every few months, whether it needs it or not.

It needs it now, so I'm doing it (well some of it anyway).  And a huge pot of spaghetti.

30s outside, no riding for this big feline.

Here's a good (bachelor) trick..... if you keep the lights real low, it never looks dirty.   Grin

It'll work.

You and I are old, your humor is just fine. Serk is young with young kids. His humor quotient is in a different place. He will be where we are soon enough. Honestly it never even dawned on me about having kids around. I only have 2 grandkids and when they are here I'm not on the internet thingy . I am very glad it didn't result in Serk having to explain to his kids that there are dumbasses that say stupid things.
