http://ijr.com/2016/09/170804-conservative-pundit-bill-whittle-defines-race-war-really-occurring-precisely-explains/

As far as homicide data from the FBI, in 2011 there were 3,172 whites killed, 83% by other whites and 14% by blacks. On the other hand, there were 2,695 blacks killed and 91% of these were killed at the hands of other black Americans.

Per the U.S. Census Bureau, whites make up 77.7% of the population, whereas African-Americans make up 13.2%. According to official statistics, there are six times as many white people in America as black people.

So as a matter of objective fact and not opinion, black Americans disproportionately murder more often than white Americans, based on their respective percentages of the U.S. population.

Whittle supports his assertions with several points:

According the National Crime Victimization Survey, an estimated 62,593 blacks were the victims of white violence, and 320,082 whites were the victims of black violence

Given the disparity in population, blacks attack whites at a level that is 25 times more frequently than vice versa

If one looks at most crime statistics, it is apparent who commits and who it is committed against.

It has been said by some that we really do not have a crime problem, we have a crime problem with one race.

I reject the notion that we have a crime problem with one race. We have a crime problem with a specific culture that is rampant. It is a gang culture and it permeates all races. I will concede perhaps that this culture has infected the black community disproportionately, but I reject the notion it is a racial thing.

I agree with the culture issue. Inner cities are not the place to be. Hard for those folks to get ahead when trapped there. No jobs, bleak future, little to aspire to and not enough role models.
Take the same folks, raised in a poor but "country rural" atmosphere and I would imagine the outcome of many would be different. It is a cultural issue that needs to be addressed.

We need to start at an early age and teach everyone one of the first words and fraises in the English language. Stop!! Freeze!!! Put your hands up!!! Keep them where I can see them!!! And explain the consequences of erogains or resistance.  99.9% of the time a person is shot by police they failed to comply, have criminal records and general have an arrogant  attitude which would more than likely get you killed. Police don't target blacks they target criminals and unfortunately most criminals appear to be other than white.  uglystupid2

Can't say I'm in a poor area but definitely in a "country rural" atmosphere and have many races here.
The outcome is different for many. It's the culture of the society they are in that tips the scales.

+1 On the matter of Race vs Culture.

It's not a matter of race, it is a matter of Culture.

"Gangsta" culture to be exact.

The Rappers and such that many young blacks choose to emulate are NOT good role models by any definition.

People like, Ben Carson, Allen West and Colin Powell are much better role models.

Here in AZ we have far fewer blacks than the Eastern cities. But we have the same gang violence problems in the Hispanic culture. Trapped in the big city with poverty and few jobs for uneducated people. The white street gangs are from similar backgrounds; poverty, poor education and a breakdown of strong family values.
