to make sure I'm able to avoid ice build up so I'm 1st on my block to get to the street without any problem come spring!  Cheesy

I found out the hard way uglystupid2  that if I leave the snow sit I'll be the last one out, as the sun does not spend a lot of time behind my garage!

That's for sure!  Here's my girls' new home, got it early November.  I'm so proud of it, even got it rigged with electricity.  It looks like I should actually be able to get out for a ride by mid June.   Undecided

12-18" 2-3 FEET more coming today thru Tuesday (updated forecasts).  What doesn't kill us...

Or just get yourself one of these conversions (and a dirt bike), and go out riding in the snow.

The high Sierra mountains above 8500' are expecting 6' of the white stuff and below that 1' of rain this week. People in the fire areas are in for trouble.

T-man, I learned that lesson the first winter in Wyoming.  Had a east facing driveway.  Moved into our home there in Late December.  There was nearly a foot of snow/ice on the driveway.  It was there two months later.  After that always shoveled it.

Thinks Art's inch of rain might be a little low.  Think we has that much since Midnight.  Sure is doing a job on the 15" of snow we had a few days ago.  Glad I live on a ridge above our town.

You clowns in Alberta I don't feel sorry for ya. When I was working we'd get the St.Paul Press at work an we compare your weather to ours in Chi.Fls. Wi. And think maybe we should move up there except to big a City for me (been there). Them people right out in the Mtn's an around N.Y. are the ones that really get blasted. In 65 years did't ever see over 18" in one shot though I have been out in over 14" a couple times.  Mostly people are here will whine if they get a little but then they are still sticking around.
