Bobby-Q's in Cookeville, Tennessee. Not baby backs, big bones, dry rub, always good.
I like all kinds, but these are bite off the bone, not fall off the bone.

Blacks. You can get here by flowing down 28 from Walhalla towards
Seneca (where I live). I've stopped here after riding, so it's the one
from the handful of good ones around here I picked for this post  Wink ...

I like their brisket, its not as good as Hot Glue's, but it is yummy.
SC isn't brisket central...

Obviously HotGlue's is my #1, but for a commercial establishment Cooper's in Llano:

(And I must protest, it's rather difficult for a Texan to choose just one!)

Countrys, Columbus, Ga. Several locations there. I like the one on lower Broad St. The old Trailways bus terminal. Fond memories

of my folks putting me on a bus in care of the driver to go spend the summer with my grandparents. Hard to believe that was 63,64 yrs

ago. All the BBQ joints in that area serve BBQ slaw as well as regular. BBQ slaw is made with a mustard base sauce instead of mayonnaise.

Yummy.      http://www.countrysbarbecue.com/

Although, I have to admit, I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce but I love the roasted pulled pork without the sauce.   Some excellent finger licking food!   cooldude

Paulie's Pig Out

It's on Highway 151 in Nelson County, VA

It doesn't look like much from the outside and there's no inside seating but the food is GREAT!

Another good, non-political group sampling!  cooldude

North Carolina has that whole eastern style (whole hog, vinegar based prep) vs Lexington style (pork shoulder, tomato-vinegar based) thing going.

I live in the Piedmont - the central part of the state - and Lexington NC is a 40 mile ride on the bikes.  They know the way - BikerGirl and I just point...

I find the eastern style richer and more filling for some strange reason but love to have it when traveling "down east" as we say.  Wilburs, Kings, Kens, Parkers - all local fixtures.

But our favorite has to be Lexington BBQ, or "Honeymonks" as the locals call it, just outside of Lexington.

Wish I was there right now...  Wink

Brook's Bridge BBQ, Fort Walton Beach, Fl, 32548.

The guy that owned it sold it to the city last year.  They tore it down and put up a parking lot.   Cry

I'm looking for another....ain't found one that I like as much yet.

Not sure BBQ is allowed up here in Minnesota with all the Swedes, Norwegians and Finlanders.
