The Valkyrie is getting a roomate, 2017 KTM Super Duke GT, still finalizing the details but after a test ride, my wife said that she loved it and that it was actually more comfy than the Valk due to seating on the Valk causing tailbone discomfort. The Valk will still have a place in the garage but it will go back to a solo'd bobber style.

The Super Duke is a super-duper bike.  Good choice!   cooldude

I think the spousal unit is more excited about the new bike than I am and I am pretty jazzed about it Cheesy

Picked it up this past Friday. 180 miles so far and it is a blast. So flickable compared to the Valk. Considering it is 200 punds lighter and 75 more hp and a little more torque. The Valkyrie does what it does splendidly but this is really a sport bike with Goldwing level of amenities. Heated grips, cruise, fuel gage, c-abs, semi-active suspension and so much more. Have the Valk on the lift waiting to be solo'd back up and a little maintenance. Heated rider and passenger seats on order.
A picture from the desert.

Meathead we will need to get together for a ride. Maybe breakfast or a hamburger, or maybe even a Taco. That goes for any of the other AZ folks in the Phoenix area

That's cool meathead...we did consider this for a very short time. Not real passenger friendly
