I worked on a horse farm when I was younger. When we would get new help and had to move the electric fence , newbie would ask how to check if it was on. Pee on it was the safest. To show him , I would pee on it. I told him he had to learn and just try. As he did , the owner who was watching from the barn would turn the power on. It was funny on our part , but not on theirs. Some stayed , some quit.  We had a sick sense of humor.
