Left home at 52F.
Got home at 68F
Warmest was 72F

Rode with a group until the last rider ahead of me forgot to mark a turn.

Left Mark - who I had waited for at a turn - to our own devices so we zipped around for about 230 miles.

Lake Blue Ridge was way down.

Thanks for the pics. I just love to see pics of the wonderful area you folks down there have to ride.  It is on my short list of retirement areas, not sure the wife's though.  I see they were treating your skys to those dastardly chemtrails that day.  Sometimes they get so intense in Dayton ( WPAFB ) they turn a perfectly sunny day into a haze, but in the last few years they have backed off some. I do not know why they will not come clean on this program and the leaders will not even address it.

We are experiencing a most unusual prolonged  ( not since winter of 2012 ) mild spell around here and if the misty skys would ever let the roads dry I will get out.  Right now looks like next Saturday will be good, but too far out to make plans.

what I wouldn't give to see GREEN again.

if you want some RAIN, well FREEZING rain,  you can have the crap that fell down all day long today most of the day just below 32 degrees freezing on roads and probably might be tomorrow morning as well.

If it was not for the POUNDING of salt that the plow trucks put on this morning/last night,  we would be all in a ditch since the side roads were glare ice all over this area.nn tickedoff

NEVER seen in January in WI this much RAIN and freezing rain we usually get 1-2 days tops all winter long and usually NOT in January usually too cold, well usually?

I too fired up the ole lady yesterday.  Went for an hour ride, was starting to get cold.  First good one of the year.  Enjoyed seeing mile after mile of white.  Temps were in the middle 30's.  Usually wait till the 40's arrive, but storm is coming in today, so enjoyed while I could.

Thankfully OR doesn't use salt on our roads, but the #3 gravel they do use causes one to watch the curves.  AND the stoplights/stop signs, where a lot of small rocks seem to gather.  Makes one's foot slide if not careful.

Love the pic's keep them coming, give one hope that spring may get here one day.
