Heard that today. He is doing all the damage he can before friday huh? Also heard is is trying to appoint 100 people into jobs before friday. Why? Just so they can be fired within a week of being hired? Friday will be interesting. |

I'm torn on this one, but it will be interesting to see if Julian Assange holds up his end of the bargain now and allows himself to be extradited...
(And an observation... Manning released information embarrassing to Bush, and has seen his sentence commuted... Snowden released information that was embarrassing to Obama, however, he doesn't seem to be getting a pardon. Funny how that works ain't it?)

Just a small correction, he's not giving Manning a pardon, Obama is giving Manning a commutation of sentence. Manning will still be a convict, he's just had his jail sentence drastically shortened. Wouldn't that be because he hasn't been held accountable yet ? It's because he's not on the liberal agenda. That is, a lefty whose forgiveness buys more lefty votes. eg. Manning's a tranny; most of the pardoned criminals are black or otherwise left, etc. |

Obamas create a foundation. The foundation revolves around a particular mission statement. Let's say revolves around community organizing and public service. They receive millions in donations. Let's say that all is aboveboard and totally transparent and they do good. Then Michelle makes a run for US Senate for Illinois. As long as the efforts are legal, separate and transparent I see no conflict. What my concern would be is that this would be developed within the Mecca of political corruption and that is Chicago. So it would require an extra dose of scrutiny just on that account. |
