Thanks Harry, I was tempted this week it got up into the 40's but with all the salt spray on the roads the bikes would sit and rust the rest of the winter.

Nice video Harry.
Curious as to what type of video setup you had there.

@meathead, thanks man. It is nice to get out but very limited in the Northeast this time of year...see Ramie's post above for the main reason. Wink
@Hook#3287 , thanks. Yes stock pipes so in a pack of Harleys it gets lost. I prefer the wind noise over pipes though.
@WoodyFL, thanks. It's a GoPro 2 in a skeleton case attached to the chin guard on my FF helmet. The external microphone is s cheap Amazon one with a 6" flexible whip that extends it into the inside of my helmet, where it is velcro'd under the left cheek pad. I had to wrap the mic in foam and a surgical glove in order to cut wind noise. There's a bit of research and testing/experience in that setup. I got the ideas from vloggers online.  The GoPro 2 is a good choice for vlogging because it has a direct input jack for the mic. Earlier models do not and later models require an adapter cable for audio which gets in the way in my opinion.  I got my GoPro used on Ebay. It's not a very expensive setup overall but a decent one I think.

Great job Harry

I remember you had invited me for that ride at the last minute and instead I just took both bikes out for rides.

Glad you had a good time

Too bad I didnt ask you to record our ride thru 106 or the goat trail

Thanks for the info Harry. I just got a GoPro 3 Hero Silver and having issues with the audio. Using an external mic was going to be my next move.
Looks like you had a great ride!

Thanks Oss. Yes that is the ride I mentioned. I'd be glad to video the next ride. Are you hosting it again this year?
