She started up well having been left with a tankful of fuel the middle of December before I left for California.  It was only about twenty miles but a nice reacquaintance.

The temps were in the high forties.  The roads were damp from early morning misting.  It's always a bit odd the first few miles after I've been out of the saddle for awhile.  There was a moment approaching a place on eastbound where hiway workers had shut down three of five lanes to fill cracks and small holes with asphalt.  Seventy to creeping speed in short order always is tense for me.

I believe I kept it below triples although we did dance close.

I'm looking forward to Spring.

Mid 60s here and I did NOT ride!  Cry Salt water on the roads and haven't got the box built fer my concentrator yet. Carl-didja feel an extry 225 lbs or so behind ya ridin bitch? That were me!  2funny RIDE SAFE
