We've had a bit of good weather for January here in Indiana. Was able to ride to work yesterday and today. At 36 it was a little cold for bibs and tennis shoes yesterday at 6 AM but the ride home was great. Today was a little warmer and made for a very enjoyable ride both directions. Every work day that starts and ends with a motorcycle ride is a good one!

Is it dark when you ride home

For me coming home in the dark from 630 or 730pm thru crazy rushing drivers is not an option

Sometime in March I will be commuting again on the beemerbike

For me, it's dark when I go to work but several hours of daylight are left when I head home unless something important is broken at the plant. Heavy traffic is something I don't experience in this area. The first 4 miles of my ride to work are mostly agricultural. After that it's a 4 lane divided highway doted with the flashing lights of school buses going through a mostly rural area. Deer, raccoons, possums and the occasional stray horse are the primary sources of morning excitement. In the afternoon on the 4 lane, impatient drivers anxious to get home are the biggest worry.

Opposite sides of the same time zone - it gets dark sooner in NY than IN  coolsmiley
