A good Old movie on Social Security

Its kind of interesting it says the original purpose and how it was formed. The movie was made in 52 and has a few others in the archive that are also interesting.
There are also others on the FBI and CIA with information on the formation even one on the Hover Dam.

Our mother applied for social security numbers for my brother and me in the early 50's. I still have my original card. SS is a far cry from what it was designed for.
When I went on the dis-abled list , I was at the S S office and an immigrant ,just in the country , never paying into the system was applying for dis-ability. I do not believe that the system should be used for this kind of B/S. If you go to their country , do you really think the government will take care of you.
