I don't get it
CNN decided to report a canceling of a meeting that was never scheduled, according to the White House AND HD.
CNN claims an unnamed administration official as the source, yet HD's official statement is quoted in the article.
"Harley-Davidson issued a statement Tuesday night saying they "don't have, nor did we have, a scheduled visit from the President this week at any of our facilities."
"We are proud to have hosted Presidential visits at our facilities. Three of the last five presidents -- Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton -- have visited us at our facilities. These visits are a testament to the pride and passion of our employees and their great work building Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said Maripat Blankenheim, director of Harley-Davidson's corporate communication. "We look forward to hosting the president in the future.""
Quotes from the article:
"The visit had not been publicly announced"
"White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham confirmed Trump is not expected to go to Milwaukee on Thursday."
But, yet, they feel the need to report this NON-NEWS?
I used to watch CNN, but not so much any more.
Actually, now, I don't watch it at all after watching their blatantly left lean TILT!

The meeting, per the article, referenced HD's issues with threats of protests at their plant with the proposed Trump visit. This isn't about HD stiffing Trump, and I believe the HD executives are going to Washington instead to visit with Trump as he signs job related EOs. What next? To find the stupid protesters and give them the spankings they should have got from their parents long ago. |

That old plant is a client of mine and they would celebrate into next week returning to Honda Motorcycle production. I should have specified. Sean Spicer said the Harley Executive were coming to the Whitehouse tomorrow. |

Trump was scheduled to be here (Milwaukee WI), for a rally/visit on Friday. The location was to be the HD Museum, in Milwaukee... Local Talk Radio is reporting that the HD folks asked him to cancel, because of the protest threats  Black Dog |

I've had my tv cable disconnected. I get my news from the Award Winning WTAP News in Parkersburg, WV. and Doc Moose, of course. Doc, Willow, Murdoc, and Ratdog are always in agreement on current affairs and 100% correct! Smokin Joe has all the news I need from the heart of "Dixie"!  P.S. I'm glad the new President is bringing the old style Valkyrie back. Now THAT's newsworthy!  |
