Arghh!

That incredibly arrogant man who cheated his way to victory and now thinks that he can impose his will on the entirety of America! Him and his gorgeous former super-model wife! And those angry people who he represents! No matter how many scandals and lawsuits he gets involved in - he still rubs his obnoxious smile into our TV screens. Majority of Americans cannot stand you! You can fancy yourself the greatest Patriot, but your days in power are numbered! Go away, Tom Brady!

I agree, I can not stand his arrogant attitude. Lie and cheat and just get your hands slapped.

Whoa there Cowboy!   You should not be attempting to deflate one of the greatest QBs of all time.  Wink

Honestly, I don't care who wins but, it's hard to not be jealous of the Patriot's win/loss record.   They've put one hell of a team together for many years as the record shows.

I'm just waiting for it, it's gonna happen............  Some one is gonna say it, most likely an Atlanta fan:

Houston, we have a problem................   2funny

*Sigh* Guys... it's a joke... you're 'sposed to think it's yet another anti-Trump rant until the very end... see?

(I'll admit I'm not a fan of the Patriots, but I really don't care about sportsball in general... )

I guess I missed the post where someone missed it.

I caught it, though, the joke was somewhat deflated....................  Wink

Edited:  I really can't believe I had to repeat the deflated part.............   crazy2

I got the joke right away thinking it was Trump you were talking about until the very end.  Good one!   cooldude

I too hope Brady goes down in flames, although no one can argue his determination and winning spirit/drive no matter how he got it done.  I have seen some of his angry times on the sidelines and he has no problem getting in anyone's face on his team bitching them out for all to see.

No one can argue the 2 best teams this year deserve to be there, but sure hope the Falcons kick the Patsies butt like 42-0, but doubt it will happen.  Should be a good game to watch, just wish the Packers could have played one more hail marry game and beat the Falcons since I think they could have surely beat the Patsies in the big game tomorrow.  Packers defense overall was sketchy all year long and way too many key players injured to pull it all out this year.   Sad

I gotta admit, I watch way too much football, more than most, and even get a tad bit depressed after this weekend since no more football to watch on Sunday.  I use to work with a young adult who watched and beat heavily every single weekend on all kinds of sports and was a walking encyclopedia of all kinds of sports figures.  That I think was going too far since he gambled on every type of sport and knew all kinds of facts and figures was truly amazing.  He told me he came so close a few times on beating, even on golf,   to win 1 million dollars.

Who are these "Packers" you speak of?    2funny

Kind of like MY CHIEFS, they didn't make it.  Had them beat and then made a stupid mistake.   It is, what it is.   Should be a good game.   cooldude

I got it right away, most clever Serk.  Most of the country will be rooting against him and the Patriots, for obvious reasons.  The Falcons and Ryan are a great story and I really admire them.  They run an offense very efficiently, maybe the best since Steve Young was with the 49's.  Against any other team ( except the lions or bengals ) I would be pulling for the Falcons.      Except.

I am a huge Tom Brady fan being a graduate of U of M.  He is the best quarterback of all time  ( very subjective for sure but the record, not arguable, and he may have several really good years left ).   Another reason is the now politicizing of even the NFL by beat writers and talking heads.   Terrible stories and OP are being thrown at him because of his friendship with Trump.  Bellichek and Robert Craft are close friends of Trump.  My josh, Trump went up to visit Craft often when his wife went through a terrible bout of cancer and passed.  He called him every week for a year to see how he was getting along.  I saw the emotion with Craft last night in an interview with Sean Hannity over their friendship.
Just let football be football.  Hope it's a great game and no politicizing by gaga and hamilton.

LOL!  The NFL is a business.  Professional spots are primarily entertainment.

Whether one hates Brady or loves him if it draws one to watch the presentation it has served the NFL's purpose.

I got the joke.  I did not find it as amusing as some might.   Wink

Brady is no doubt a top flight QB. I don't understand why you wouldn't like him. I believe he was undrafted. He came off of the bench and has won it all several times over. Super Bowls, conference championships, division championships, mvp's and set numerous records. He was an underdog that made it to the very top of his profession. It didn't hurt that he was playing under the greatest coach the NFL has ever had. That being said I am a Broncos fan but you cannot deny their accomplishments. I did get the joke right away Serk and thought it was great. By the way way I voted for Trump also. Make America Great Again and go Patriots! cooldude

Heh, gotta keep it in context... Among the other issues Willow had when he lost his walls that keep most people from saying things they shouldn't say, they also did a humorectomy... I'm used to being around people like that, the spousal unit also had a humorectomy, she's the only person I've ever met that could watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail AND Steve Martin's The Jerk and not even crack a grin once.

It's a sad condition, we should be understanding of people in this situation, and not judge them or hold it against them.

The wording implies Willow did in fact find it at least a LITTLE amusing, which I find to be one of the highest compliments of my comedy prowess I've ever received.

Then why were they fined and brady had to sit out several games? They dont hand that kind of punishment out without hard evidence.

Yes they do.     The only hard evidence was the ball psi's were a little off.  Beyond that, all they had was rumor, conjecture, and public opinion.

And had the first half balls had that extra .5 to 1  psi, the Pats would have put 60 points on the Colts that day, going by their second half effort.  And I am also a Colts fan, loved Manning and now Luck.  Why do some teams get all the Luck with Qb's?

Personally, I don't think it's luck.   Combine great coaching with the right financial package and you'll get a good QB.   Just my opinion but, if you look at the numbers, it seems to work that way.  Then again, they also have some good linemen up front protecting their investment and hire some very sticky fingered receivers to catch them balls.  Wink

You all do realize how that little "scandal" bumped the viewer count for the NFL and especially for Patriot games?  It's a business.  Does anyone actually believe there is an advantage to playing with a football that is off by a 1/2 pound of air pressure?

LOL!  Our senses of humor are directly related to our thought processes.  I actually have an excellent sense of humor but it operates on a different level than do most.  I'll leave it to you (plural) to decide whether it is above or below.  I have lost the sense of amusement at ridicule and almost everything that the current media asserts.  What I find hilarious is usually wrapped around irony or multiple meanings of phraseology.  I greatly enjoy turning a phrase.

I'm pretty happy with who I am.  When someone asks me how I'm doing the answer is usually, "I'm doing fine.  Some of the people around me are having problems but that's their issue, isn't it?"    Wink

A most interesting story emerged today on Superbowl rings.  Robert Craft was interviewed.  They showed a picture of Craft with Putin in Russia.  Putin wanted to see the ring up close.  So Craft took it off and handed it to him.  Putin left for a bit and never returned the ring.  Can you imagine the audacity to do this.  Craft was still upset over the matter.  He said if he would return it he would get him another one.

Note to Vladi the Impaller.   Wars have been started over less, and Craft is very well connected with the White House.   Send that ring back now.  Maybe it will be TREX Tillerson's first diplomatic trip.
