We live right in the shadow of Lake Michigan and are the proud recipients of a phenomenon called "Lake Effect Snow".

Not Today! Didn't get the bike out but got the trucks all cleaned up and waxed, ready for the next salt coating.

spiffy clean, will not last long though unfortunately.

2 Ford trucks just in case one breaks down right??  LOL  Just kidding... Roll Eyes

Amazing the total lack of snow depth here as well in WI also in mid 60s for 4-5 days will be since Friday thru say Wednesday of this coming week - UNREAL.    Some hiking trails even have closed down this weekend in state forests due to a muddy mess lack of snow depth to help preserve what little is left.

I save the GOOD cleaning until spring has arrived since I know in 2-3 days the clean vehicles will be just as dirty in a few days of driving again.

Your right Cookie, snow supposed to be back at the end of the week after possible severe thunderstorms. Maybe Al Gore WAS right about this entire global warming thing! I mean, come one, the guy DID invent the internet so he must be pretty smart, right?
P.S. The red one will stay clean for a while, he only comes out when the weather is nice or if it's really, really bad.  Smiley

As they say "you can't hide money"
Those are nice looking Fords.
I flew out of Milwaukee on Saturday it was 62 and sunny when we landed in San Diego and it was raining.
Who would had thought that in Feb it would be nicer in Wis then Calf.

No kidding! My friends in SoCal said the very same thing about our weather being nicer than theirs. Don't be that impressed about the trucks, the red one is mine but the blue one is my company vehicle. I have a great boss and he allowed me to pick out what I wanted. When purchasing my red one I was a bit on the fence with the red vs. the blue, now I can enjoy them both!  Smiley

gotta then get the 6.2L V8 to match as well?   Roll Eyes

what engine those newer fords got in them, guessing 3.5L ecoboost or the 5.0L V8?  What is mpg hwy. or all around driving as well?

My neighbor is thinking in 2017 getting a 2.7L ecoboost since he does not tow much at all and read up they are rated at 24 hwy mpg although I doubt he will get that high of hwy. mileage, more like 22 mpg hwy. tops??

Actually the new Raptors come with the 3.5 Eco Boost and they are higher horsepower than the 6.2 from the last Gen Raptor. Several videos on you tube and the new ones walk away from the older models with the 6.2.

My red one has the 3.5 Eco and the blue one has the 2.7 Eco. Both are very quick and fooling around with a buddy that has the 5.0 Coyote motor in his new F150 a few weeks ago when the roads were dry my 3.5 thumped him pretty good.

Mileage on the smaller eco boost is around 18 mpg combination but the truck only has 1500 miles on it so I think it will get better. The 3.5 is getting about 16. Both are 4WD.

Funny story about my 3.5 eco in the red truck. Soon after I got it I remarked to my buddy with the 5.0 truck how good my truck sounds in sport mode, just like a 5.0! He didn't believe me until I took him for a ride and he was surprised as well. When doing some reading on the F150 forums I see them talking about disconnecting the "fake engine noise" and I had no idea what they were talking about. Turns out on the 3.5 with the Sony premium audio system Ford uses "sound enhancement" while in sport mode and WOT applications. They actually pump a 5.0 mustang sound bite into the cabin via the stereo into the cabin. I had no idea and totally snookered me!

Yep, sounds pretty good too. What the heck, wouldn't be the first time I was fooled by fake noises.  Grin
