His battery was dead

So I rode over to his house right next to Valhalla, only by the time I got there he was riding to my house, having used a 6 amp charger so back I went.  He never turned off the bike during any of the stops including a gas stop at the end.

Altho Billy has lived here his whole life he had never been up the goat trail or thru the 7 Lakes.  106 was closed at the Sebago Circle as was the road down to Lake Welch because of ice and snow drifts.

It was a good ride! The lakes were almost cobalt blue with large patches of ice across most of the surfaces under the brilliant blue sky.  Saw some HD's and a bmw no other Valkyries but again none were expected.

Oh yeah the Valk ran perfectly.  Did see a parked State Patrol car while we were heading north at the Peekskill sweepers. He was right over the top of the hill facing south.  Bikes uniformly hit that spot at VERY high speed, including me.  On the way back he was hiding about a mile south in a very sneaky spot.  Glad we missed his welcome as if unaware no way to not get the appreciation award.

Dennis yeah I was thinkin when I posted you would be all over that
Meathead, there is nothing more to say about that fella from Arizona
